My comment was related to the fact that bankruptcy messes up your credit from anywhere from 7-10 years, whereas 3.5 years would suck living with her parents, but it would leave her with clean credit. That was my point here, not one of judgement.000aKara, I wonder how she is doing as well. I wish there were more True Life updates.
I guess it would just depend on how long it takes her to get back up on her feet, from what her lawyer said, he usually see's it take about two years, it could be less or more then that. Paying it off will be a little under four years living at home. I guess it would just depend, if it takes her four plus years to get on her feet, it would probably be better to have paid it off. I wonder how she's doing today.

I work part time min-wage and my bank account is at the negative right now. My paycheck is going in my account to cover that. Don't want but I got too. I had to leave one bank and come to the one I'm in now. Not finna do that again. I just turned 23 yesterday and I'm so ready to be on my own but min-wage ain't gon let me go nowhere I'm just glad I have some where to stay until I can save up and get my own place. I'm just glad I never got a credit card cuz thats whats killin these girls.

It's not reasonable when it almost half of what you make in a month and would make you have to live with your parents for years. I am filing BK and I know what she's going through. I hate people judging me.
I am really surprised that Ashley chose to file bankruptcy...I thought that paying $419/41 months was pretty reasonable.

margarette is a stupid rolie polie dewey woof. i like how she went bankrupt cuz shes too lazy to get a freaking job and move out of her parents. All of her clothes are UGLY and idk why she wears makeup anyway cuz shes ugly too. ponytail. she wears it every day? gross. if she spent so much money all the time on clothes and makeup you would think she'd buy something for her hair or like a weight loss program or something useful instead of 12 minutes in a tanning bed. really? gross. at the end, when she was having a good time i noticed she really learned her lesson. she only got one highlight instead of a normal amount. i'm glad she's maturing like she said and really coming up with a good life plan. i'm also really happy to see that she sees the positive side of bankruptcy - apparently there is nothing negative about it. the next time i want to save money, i'll cut back on electricity by only wearing pony tails instead of straightening my hair, i'll buy ugly clothes instead of expensive ones, and go tanning just to feel good cuz im so in debt. but if i really need to get highlights, i'll do one blond strip. ohhh yeah. thanks for the tips! I totally agree with you! I caught that too- her manicure and was like wtf? When I don't have money, I cut my own hair, paint my own nails, and give myself facials. I don't go out and spend money on that because they aren't necessities!
Ashley is such an idiot she thinks that if she declares bankruptcy she will b able to move out within a year, ha she is crazy, her credit will b ruined for a long time, no one will rent to her. Amy is also useless, she sleeps all day and doesnt look for a job yet she whines because she is in debt. Danielle is the only smart one at least she is working to pay off her debt.
I still disagree with the new law where you have to be 21 to get a credit card. It seems like turning 18 has lost so much value(Unless you smoke cigarettes or play scratch off lottery tickets.) And it doesn't matter what age, there are 50 year olds who run out a credit card.so the new law is pointless. Way to go Obama!
Very true, whats sad is danielle has the most debt out of the three and is doing the best to get rid of it. I would of thought if i didn't see the episode that she would be the one filing for bankruptcy, not ashley with 20,000 in debt which is still alot but danielle has so much more, yet she's doing it the right way.
I really love Danielle she's working her butt off to pay her debts off...u can tell she's older than the other two however she's only three-four years older...All her hard times in the past made her blossom into a responsible adult..those other two girls need 2 stop..Amy gon take a job at some guy house SMH !!!! then when she look 4 a job she gon say I dont want a job 2 take up all my time...*** stupid is dat
