What if you believed you were a certain gender, but were born the other? Follow Elle and Ted as they have their outsides match their insides.
look at elle and her low cut tops! haha she is the best! god bless them both
I was so sad Elle's mom died! She loved and supported her more than anybody!
I absolutely loved this episode. It reminded me to feel so blessed to be born as a female and identify as a female everyday. We take it for granted, whereas some people truly do not have that luxury!
The cameras didn't catch everything (thank the Lord!); I did tip him that day and every time he cut my hair. Be well. ~ Ted
Elle's mom was an incredible woman. I wish my mom was 1/4 as supportive as her. Elle and Ted are super brave to be able to share their stories with us and go through with surgeries they know need to happen in spite of the naysayers. Love this episode...
Wow Ted you couldn't even tip your barber !?! LOL
From what I know, Teddy is doing well. He is married to a different woman and performs as a male entertainer at a couple local gay bars in Akron. He is such a sweetheart!
Elle is a cute guy but i dont know about a cute girl
yeah Giselle who the hell are you to judge someone people have a right to do whatever they want to with there bodies don't be so closed minded.
i agree. when you get a surgery like that, you can choose to do it however YOU want
anyone know how elle and/or ted are doing today?
...who are you to tell someone what to do with their own body?
Train your voice, finish electrolysis, and do hormones for 2 years, Before any surgery. What a dumb choice of order ....
How can you expect to be treated like a woman, if you sound like a male trucker, and have to shave ..... smh
awww RIP to Elle's mom. She was such an angel
Elle was a cute guy. But wow such a supportive mom, I can honestly say I would not be the same. My reaction would've been the same as Ted's family.
Elle's mom was so cool and amazing :)
Best True Life episode I've seen yet!! Having many LGBT friends, I am absolutely amazed and proud at the support systems Elle and Ted had (whether it was family, friends, or both). Elle, I am so sorry about your mother, I definitely shed a tear when I heard that, she seemed supportive beyond belief. To think that she was ultimately the reason you were able to get your gender re-assignment surgery though, is amazing. Best of luck to both of you! Also, I gotta say... those were some damn hot drag kings!
I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!! I WATCHED IT A MILLION TIMES. AND I CANT WAIT TIL MY GIRL GETS HER TOP SURGERY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As someone who also goes to Kent (with an outside-looking-in perspective on this topic), I feel like the university community is really accepting of transgendered students and faculty.
