i also have extreme food allergies and rarely ever show external signs. You really should actually study allergies instead of going off what you see in 3 year olds who have peanut butter for the first time

As a parent that would be so hard . Realynns dad is just amazing. she is so sweet too. Seeing her episodes makes me want to cry. Its horrible that zeke gets made fun of for his problems

she does what i do! :) the benedryl then the inhaler.. try not to use the epipen. my allergy is eazy to avoid though its walnuts. every time i eat one, then next time it happens the worse the allergy gets. the first time was puffy face and watery eyes, second time itchy throat, the last time, the third time, my tongue got itchy and swelled i had a trip to the hospital. now i have an epipen

Have you ever looked into allergy testing? I developed an allergy like that but it doesn't usually progress to anaphalaxis. I ended up having Oral Allergy Syndrome, it's an isolated allergy that is localized to an oral reaction. For me I cannot eat raw fruits or vegetables without a reaction. Just figured this may be helpful and something to look into!

Organic is best for pure foods but just because it's "organic" doesn't mean it it is safe.The more and more our food system is contaminated with preservatives & additives more the risk to the person ingesting the food. Allergens hidden in foods that don't have to be listed so the allergic may eat things they think are safe. It is IMPERATIVE That both of these kids and their parents get some serious education on diet and food because they shouldn't' have been eating half the stuff they were.

Marta-you are correct. Liquid flavored Benadryl will NOT help someone with multiple allergies. Their best best is to have a compounding pharmacy make their own special batch of benedryl which is formulated to be as pure as possible and free of their allergens.

I have severe food allergies and I NEVER have external signs of reaction/anaphylatic shock. There are tons of symptoms that can occur such as: throat swelling and itching, wheezing, ear ringing, migraines, dizziness, unable to walk, nausea, digestion problems, stuttering, brain fog, numbness/tingling of extremities, high blood pressure, etc.. Do NOT write off reactions because you don't see hives or swelling. Any allergist worth their salt knows that you don't need hives for a reaction.

I have allergies to where my lips swell, but like some people I have no idea what causes it... I have cut out MSG, TBHQ, BHT, and BTA... Knock on wood I have had noo symptoms since cutting out those preservatives! I loved this episode..made me feel like I wasn't the only one that their symptoms came up over time...never been allergic to anything as a young child...teenage years started becoming allergic

Cut Gluten/Dairy out of your diet and just watch the wonders. I have recently also cut soy and corn and the results have been life changing. It seems like alot to cut at first but it has been so worth it. Gluten and dairy have been linked to contributing to many health issues. Getting back to the basics and cutting out processed foods is my suggestion and anyone with these reactions should be willing to try anything.

I don't understand why Raelyn isn't seeing a real doctor with such severe symptoms. That bearded guy is a "chiropractic applied kinesiologist," not a trained medical physician specializing in allergic reactions.

I have severe anxiety has well I can never relax. I hope you get better and I know addiction to xanax is very difficult to deal with. Wish you the best of luck mate.

It's possible that Raelyn is over exaggerating for the cameras sometimes...maybe. But she went to the doctor, he did the tests and she's definitely allergic to a lot of things--I don't think she could fake the scratch test or the blood test. People respond to things they're allergic to in a lot of different ways, not just the text book "This is generally what happens..." ways. People's bodies are all different.
