In this episode of True Life, you'll meet three young Sumotori hoping to make it big in a large man's world.
SERIOUSLY ****** LET HIM DO WATEVER HE WANTS...
no problem with me i get you.
Yeah, Shirley and Alberto, that was my point exactly! I'm not judging them. I was just trying to make this point to someone else. I know it's their lives and I'm fine with that.
one thing they do eat healthy, they dont eat fries or greasy foods, i like sumo but i won't do it i like my sixpack abs more.
It's their lives so why put them done or give your nagative two cents? As long as they are happy more power to them. So sumo is their thing and maybe not yours, don't judge someone because they enjoy sumo. Worry about yourself first this is their lives you have no control over what these people do. So all you haters need to get over yourselves already! So they are overweight who cares? It’s their choice worry about your own weight and stop bashing other people.
i didn't say anything about being fat and fit. reread my comment. what i said was these people know full well what they are getting into. they know the risk factors and they still choose to do it. i will agree that a lot of studies have been done on this sort of thing, but not all of them are correct. do some studying yourself, and you will see what i'm saying.
There is no such thing as fat and fit...big and healthy maybe...but i'm just pointing out that...IF your husband was to take up sumo KNOWING they will have huge health problems later on in life retiring by 30 and maybe dying in thier 50's would you fully support that? knowing your husband will not live to see his kids grow up? STUDIES show this and i am merely relaying STUDIES...studies ALSO show that a person with a porportinate BMI and body fat percentage LIVES LONGER with less health problems...we are talking about the MAJORITY not the little bits of exception to the rules...check out the statistics and studies at CDC.gov && NIH.gov
Wow! That chick with the husband and the two kids is a DOUCHEBAG!!! She doesn't support her hubby for anything how sad.
ha ha, silly Mou, your tricks are for kids!!!! these people know the health risks involved with being large, but it hasn't stopped them. This is THEIR dream, not yours. As far as America goes, well I hate to say it, but A LOT of americans are delusional in their thinking that thinner is healther. I've known lots of thin people with serious health problems that could shame that of a larger person. People assume that just because you're large, you must be unhealthy. Not true in all cases. You're just large.
In America smaller is better...Sumo is a traditional sports that's fine...but athletic? NO WAY...go read all the studies which will explain the health risks and problems which will plauge sumo wrestlers...most of them will retire at 31 (which causes even more health problems) and die in thier 50's...that doesn't happen to a basketball player or a long distance runner does it? I think that if you really want to be a sumo wrestler you need to evaluate how this is not only going to affect you (as depicted above health problems and risk) but how it will affect your family...
I think sumo is an old japanese tradition that if you wish to practice you should have to go to japan
