Sheena, Jocelyn and Nick all struggle to take care of their children without the help of a significant other.
Ok Sheena you know your daughter is a bratty little ***** when her own grandmother does not want to watch her. I mean the kid is sitting there screaming while she is doing her hair and she does nothing to shut her up. You have got to be kidding! That would not fly. It's a bad sign when your own family hates your kid and wants nothing to do with her. That means you need as the parent to teach your kid not be a little brat. I did not get away with any of that as a kid. When I tried to act up I was disciplined and held accountable. Parents are too damn soft nowadays.
This is a good episode. The only thing I didn't like was how Nick and Sheena were always talking about wanting a boyfriend or girlfriend to play Mommy or Daddy to their kids. They're YOUR damn kids. It's not anyone else's responsibility to help you or parent these kids except you and the partner you created them with.
Whoever married him is really brave or has a million kids of her own. LOL
Nick is a great guy for standing up and taking care of his kids and his exes one kid but he needs to learn what a condom is and use it. Five kids does not just happen, you let that happen. Only five are biologically his that is why I say five. I mean no offense or anything but if I went out a date with Nick and then met those kids I would run not walk away. I am not interested in an instant family with one kid let alone six.
I don't know why Sheena even cares about sharing her kid with the baby's dad when she goes out all the time anyway. And I find it weird that she is worried about who her daughter's father will have her around when she is the one introducing that baby to Cody when she is barely going out on her first date with him. She needs to get her priorities straight and realize the party is over. Just because you are 21 does not mean you get live and act like a normal 21 year old anymore. You have a kid. She says she has nobody but her family to watch her daughter, her words "I have no other options right now." Um yeah you do stay home and be a mother instead of going out all the time and dumping your kid on your family. It is one thing if you are going to work but it is another when you are going out to party.
Nick is amazing.
It was nice to see Nick in one of the catch up specials and that he got married.
elana is so adorable!!!
GOOD ENDING.
2012: watching it now. 1st time. Am a parent, but married. So, the 1st guy has 6 kids. What women leaves 6 kids behind? sad. Even if they are not together. Then the mother who wants to date, she need to focus on school, work and moving out of her parents place, but the guy CODY is fine, as hell.
Nick is a really good dad. It's hard to do that with two people and he's definitely trying to do everything he can for the kids. Hope he does find a good girl that can be there for him and the kids.
Poor guy is a good dad for being so young. I feel bad for him and the kids. He needs supernanny and some time alone once in a while. Hope he finds someone and the kids have a shot at being happy.
I have never seen this video and I can relate to all 3 of the stories. I am a single parent of 2 and I know exactly how hard it is. But it is all worth it and I love my children so very much. I hope MTV decides to make a part two to this episode. I want to be put of that one.
she's mad ruff with her too, but i don't think she knows how to be a mother, look at hers..
Hi Nick. I think you are truly blessed and any woman would be so lucky to have a man like you and so many beautiful children to tuck into bed every night. I am a single mother and I know how challenging it can be but at the end of the day family is the most important thing. I was a Mechanical Engineer and find you and I have a lot in common. I wish we lived closer because I would date you in a heartbeat. I love children and always wanted as many as I could have. God Bless You.
I agree with Dejah - these girls should have set some kind of boundaries or been more careful before they became pregnant. But Nick shows a lot more integrity because he was left alone by a negligent wife and now seems to make the kids his priority, no matter how crazy they get.
It bugs me that both of those girls expect their families to do everything for them--take care of their kids without giving them any notice, pay for their gas money...oh please. Grow up. Take care of yourself and your baby and stop being so ****** at your mom's who can't coddle you forever.
NICK, PLEASE LOOK ME UP ON FACEBOOK: CYNTHIA CARRILLO/KILLEEN, TEXAS. OR EMAIL ME: C_CARRILLO1981@YAHOO.COM. UR A GREAT MAN AND FATHER AND DESERVE A GREAT MOM FIGURE 4 UR BABES AND A GREAT GF/WIFE..HOPE U GET BOTH..GOD BLESS U AND UR FAMILY!!
YES!! your only suppost to do that when your children are switching from milk to eating solids...only once or twice at the most..*** I said the same thing when I seen this! I'm assuming this is her way to get more out of that baby food. poor baby and the grandmother knows what she is doing trying to give her real food.
Just finished the episode and I have to say that Nick gives me a lot of encouragement. I'm a single dad of a two year old that I've raised since birth by myself. It's kind of nice to know that I'm not the only one who is going through this. I can really relate to how these people are feeling. I don't have to much respect for Sheena. She seams to concerned with her well being than that of her daughter. I read in an article about single parents dating and they say that you should always keep yourself in check and ask yourself "do I love this person because I need them or do I need them because I love them?" Also look at the places that she goes to find these guys and the guys she's interested in. I think your looking for love in the wrong place when you go to a bar or club with the expectation of finding your soul mate.
