Melanie and Kevin are two young people who have decided to ignore their sexual impulses and no longer live in the gay lifestyle. As they try to lead heterosexual lives, they seek support from their friends and family.
I don't understand why Melanie would try to please her mother after the way she treated her?

Um, not all christians are bigots. Get your facts straight.
Her mom is a jesus fanatic but she stabbed her own daughter for being a lesbian? Thats so messed up
"That person chooses to be that way..."000aum, check your privilege.
That is so HORRIBLE and so sad! Her own mother stabbing her for being lesbian. :(

Some Christians can handle their love ones being gay in a wrong way. Some help bc they care for them. Kevin is my inspiration because his love for the lord had let him decide to avoid the temptation of being with men. He's different. He gave us an example of what we should do in this situation. Thank you Kevin. God created sex for man and women then came out a beautiful child. Becoming gay is just a test to see how much you love the lord. It only depends on how you handle it. Not how you feel.
UGH I would just like to point out that not ALL Christians are bigoted ********...God This && God That...God wants you to STFU && Let people live the way THEY want to
It is so terrible that Kevin and Melanie were abused or kicked out of their parents lives for who they loved. Melanie was homeless and Kevin was reduced to living in a garage. Their parents use their religious beliefs as a weapon!!

You should never deny yourself who you truly are. If that means cutting off people that are hurting you or hindering you, then do it. It will be hard though. I'd rather be alone and happy, than sad and surrounded by people trying to make me something I'm not. At the end of the day, its your life.
