On this episode of True Life we'll meet three young people overwhelmed by the problems caused by illegal immigration, who are doing everything they can to handle a situation with no easy solutions.
I wonder hows tony doing? any updates on him?
Or that they should all be considered "bad", I can't understand their position, but from things iv'e seen on tv, I can understand why they would want to move if they fear for their lives and don't have time to wait to apply legally. I see both sides of the argument.
I have no problem with people from any country coming to the US, And I can understan doing it the "legal" way takes longer and they might not get citizenship, but I also agree that they should do it legally and can understand why people are upset when people come into the country illegally. Just as if someone from america tried to come move to another country without following the right laws, people would be upset. But I don't think we shouldn't give them a chance.
UMM why don't they move if they feel unsafe!!!!!!!!
My husband's parents are of Mexican descent and they immigrated to the United States in the '80s. They were not drug smugglers, or weapon smugglers. They were two people fed up with the conditions in Mexico that they had to suffer through for most of their lives. They came here to better their lives, and to better the lives of their children. They wanted to work. They didn't become legal for many years, so entering the U.S. they were illegal. I HATE the term "illegals" and I will never use it.
"I'm Calan. I live 50 Miles from Mexico. My neighborhood is dangerous cuz of illegals. I want my family to be safe, so I'm gonna carry a gun even when I play with my kids, and then I'm gonna go TO THE BORDER to find drug dealers and have me a shootout! YEEHAW!!" (retard)
yeah he reminds me of that Michael Moore movie. a little too into that 2nd amendment and ready to shoot somebody. if your neighborhood is that mad, i have an option - MOVE!!!
illegal immigration is wrong, but what other options do these people have? all you people who want to sit behind your computers and hollar about how they need to go back to their own countries need a reality check. why don't you pack up every family member you have and go back to your own country? somewhere down the line 99% of people in this country have a family member who immigrated here. and thats why you have your citizenship and your freedom to sit behind your computer and criticize. all these people want is the same thing your ancestors wanted a long time ago. freedom and a better life for themselves and their children. yes, there are a lot of people who want nothing more than to get over here and sell drugs. but, that isn't everyone. the united states needs to fix this. it is our responsibility as citizens to make these changes happen. there needs to be a better way for these people to come over legally, whatever country they're coming from. there should be some sort of system set up where some sort of background check can be completed before they're allowed to apply for citizenship, but it needs to happen before they have no other options but to try to come illegally and end up arrested or dead. what good does sitting behind a computer working your judgemental fingers to death do for anyone? what? does it make you feel special and tough? congratulations. how about you quit with the racism. because thats all it is. racism against people who's skin is different than yours. your the problem with this country, not immigrants. we are not some blessed, important people who are better than the rest of the world because we were born in this country. like i said, our ancestors were immigrants, too. we are all humans. no race is better. no nationality is better. God loves us all. and i don't claim in any way to know what God wants or is thinking, but i can promise you, if your judging other people for whatever reason it may be, God sure as hell isn't proud of you. look at yourselfs in the mirror. forget about the issue of immigration. just look at who you are. judging from some of you people's comments, you ought to be ashamed of your very existence.
I feel bad for tony hes such a great guy! it suckz being in that situation i wonder what happen to him how is he doing? if he went to college after all> that calan guy is such a racist ***** he has that kkk look and kill look , this is the only guy i hate from this episode!
I'm from Vegas and we have a lot of Hispanics here, especially from Mexico. I could honestly say that all the Mexicans that I know who are illegal immigrants are drug dealers, gang members, criminals, etc. They told me they are hustling to try and live a better life and all, but I think that there the reason why they are so up tight about illegal immigrants crossing the boarder. If we just let illegal immigrants freely in America our death rate would sky rocket. So kudos for those whose support the strict law of illegal immigrants and for the people on this episode who try and stop them.
i agree with you 100%
i think we can solve this awful problem with one simple solution, in exchange for citizenship we should sterilize them , i think thats fair the over whelming numbers on welfare now are turning us into sweden lets learn from their mistake
@ True Latina - You tell them Hermana! I 100% support those who come to the U.S. illegally to make a better living for themselves and their families. My parents are both from Mexico but I was born in California. I used to spend all my summers in Mexico. Plus I would visit and stay for large periods of time with my grandparents, so I know, seen and experienced the horrible poverty in Mexico. Americans have absolutely no idea how hard it is to live in real poverty. At least here in the U.S. we have things like welfare, section 8 housing, social security, disability, unemployment, etc.... to temporary get by on. Other countries dont have that opportunity, that is why they live in the horrible conditions they live in and coming to America is the only other option there is to make a better living for themselves. Americans should a spend a few weeks in another Latin American country to see and experience the poverty. I could guaranty they wouldn't last a day! They're gonna run toward that border so fast......whoooo..... they are not gonna know what hit 'em.....Lmao!
I dont think ninja is stating in any way that he does not like it.
Calen is just trying to protect his family......but he is doing it the wrong way he is taking it was to seriously.
First of all our country is not as poor as you think. It is just that the government does not do much for its people. Now does that sound fumilier to you? I am just playing with you your government is trying but that is the way life is you wont always get what you want and you cant do **** about it no matter how hard you try. Station snipers? you need to stop playing call of duty. And I am not sure if you have noticed but the mexican cartels are much more aggresive than that so they could tare through that very easly! ( I do not support the cartel if any thing I hate them just as much a every body els they kill Innocent people for no reason. That sounds a lot like you DRE!).
It is people like you that I love and make this word livable for all races. But there is only on race that matters and that is the human race! LOL! Also Calen is taking it way to far it is ok to carry a gun and all (you have the right to bare arms) but he wants his kids to live a Hispanic free life so he should move, but that is his choice to make not mine. And the Calen that is right below my comment you are partially right in your opinion any way. But if there where not drugs the addicts would go ******* crazy! But you cant stop the drugs Mexico has them France, China you name it and yes even America has them so there is nothing you could do about that no matter who hard you try you can control it but you cant end it! And yes you can still be white you can still fallow your traditions and everything els you do white! LOL!
My parents work and yes they pay there taxes just like every body els and yet they are illegal. And I am not sure if you know this but the more money that you waste the more you give to the economy!
I'am not a citizen of the USA and yet I live in it and brake the law every day. I was brought to America when I was 4 months old in 2000. I'am 15 now and my parents work there *** of every day just to keep food on the table. We live in Washington (right next to Oregon). I love this country, it's people and its traditions! As far as I know I am home. I have no right bing here and yet I am here and you can't do ****! But I respect this country and its people. My parents cant speak English, we speak Spanish every day at home, the park, and yes even at Walmart. And the people her don't give a **** about it they are not as ****** as other people (like you). They see us as one of there race... the human race. My parents had to go through a lot of **** just like other people have. Also you are not white you are Hispanic just like most of the people that are or come to this country illegally so don't act like you are far more sophisticated than any body els. You should start looking deeper into peoples life don't just look at what is on the outside you should look for what that person has been through and what they had to do to get to where they are today. All in all I am proud to be in this country (even if it is illegally). We have every thing we could ask for, we have a nice car (2000 Mazda mpv lol), a computer, TV (42 in flat screen tv and it is also 3d!). Also you think it is disrespectful l to be able to to talk in your own language? And so what if people stare at you, I stare at people all the time and I am sure you have too. But I am sure you have had your own problems and achieved many things (just like most people have) but I wish you and your husband a happy life full of Respect and love (you have to respect people if you want to be respected witch I am sure you are not doing). So good luck to you and your family and God bless you and The World!
My parents are illegal and yet they work and pay there taxes. They also do there taxes every year and we also receive welfare benefits due to the fact that they have 3 younger children (sons, Not me I am not legal and I am proud of it ) that where born in the USA. I love this country and its people! And make more than Americans? Are you sure? My dad works in a fruit packing factory and he barley make 10 grand a year and you think that is more than you make? Ya it would be more than an american makes if that american person was a lazy ass (I am not being disrespectful any person from any race can be a lazy ass). So God bless you and your family!
