These teens are being mean little brats. I would have loved to have parents like these. My parents would pick on me for what I wore and they were really harsh about it. I was goth and they were strict baptists. Even if it was long black pants and a black t shirt they would tell me I was ugly and everyone would hate me. I feel sorry for these parents. Ive only watched part of this episode but I havent seen where the parents were telling their teens about how they hate the way they are.

I somewhat agree! Since Nikki is really goregous herself! But I think a downside to having a mother like that would be that all your friends' attention is always on your mom and not you. She must get a million MILF jokes a day.

Anyone, irrelevent of their age, who dresses as immodestly as Nikki's mother, should be ashamed of themselves. It is disgusting, it is trashy and it is slutty. It gives off a terrible impression. Nikki's mother is more than confident, she is very vain and narcissistic. She obviously needs reassurance from others and from her photographs that she is attractive. But dressing in such a way makes her into an object, not a strong woman confident in herself enough to not feel the need to expose her inner parts to complete strangers. its a terrible example for her daughter.

I don't think these girls have anything to be embarrassed about. Well, maybe Nikki. Her mom COULD dress a lot more conservatively. I'd be pretty humiliated too if my mom dressed that way. But they should just be thankful for their parents. My dad passed away when I was seven and I watched this and WISHED that my dad was here to embarrass me. Lol. All parents are embarrassing every once in awhile! Get over it!

Niki is beautiful, smart, and well-spoken. The mother, is a piece of work... literally. Here is the deal. I had my mother go through a similar stage, but not nearly as revealing and revolting. I don't speak to her often, because it still pisses me off just thinking about how superficial and selfish she was. Niki's mom is also a mess. She obviously has some serious psychological issues, narcissism being the most obvious. Most likely there was no father figure in the mother's childhood, possible sexual abuse at a young age, which later led to being cheated on by many men in her life. Unfortunately, Niki is going to suffer through issues thanks to the mother not coping by seeking professional therapy. Instead, the mother acts inappropriately by wearing outfits that are WELL beyond her age, like letting her expired milk hang out. It may be sexy for older men 50s and above, but, not when she is standing next to... lets say... a 30 year old or younger. The older she gets, the more clothing she will have to remove so she can continue to get attention. It is obvious that attention is more important than her own daughter. Shame on the Grandmother, as well, who defends this unhealthy behavior and outright denies the granddaughter's feelings- also messed up. Niki is the one who is right and absolutely deserves to have a mother, not a mess of a human. I imagine that any outing is an excuse for the mother to hog the spotlight. She even goes out of her way to shake her flat booty for the Jr. High School boys attention. Seriously? Competing with your daughter... so jacked. Someone, please call Chris Hanson at Dateline NBC. Of course those boys say the mother is "hot", those where the first boobs they have seen in real life and not the internet. It didn't matter that they were old, fake, and sagging to the floor. Niki, you are adorable and extremely well-spoken so stand your ground and be heard, you deserve to be respected and not competing with your inappropriate Mother and the enabling (and in denial) Grandmother. I recommend when your mother is old and alone because her "beauty" has faded and she has nothing else to offer, ignore her. Selfish payback is a biiiyyyoch. Maybe then she will realize the damage she has done. PS Remove those stupid 80's nude portraits!

i completely understand niki's frustration. my mom came out in slutty shorts one time and i was embarrassed. i can't imagine if she always had her stomach showing and boobs out. regardless of if she's a mom or old, it's annoying when people beg for attention like that. i wouldn't even want to be around a peer that way.

i think kinley is more confident and happier as a sexy woman than a woman who dresses modesty. the reason why she gets more attention than nikki cuz she has confidence while nikki is insecure
