Job opportunities are so rare in Flint, MI after GM closed. I feel bad for her father because that is a ton of stress on his shoulders. However, daycare is expensive as well so for Ashley to get a job then that adds a VERY expensive cost as well. Ashley is not utilizing her right for child support from the baby's daddy. He is resting on his butt and only gives her $25 for the baby. Really? (Formula is $25-30, Diapers are $40 (minimum), and wipes $10-20 What the heck is $25 going to do?). Jobe is a good boy who who has a drama queen for a mother. She is listing all the things going wrong she doesn't do anyting about them. One minute she tells Jobe she needs "Help" and then next "you just be a teenager don't worry." Really? That woman will play the victim all her life and I only hope her boys grow up stronger in spite of her.

I know this is 4 yrs. old people shouldn't critize these families.I wish MTV would update these 2 families what is going on with them now I hope they r doing better.

I dont know where unemployment comes from in your state but where I am from it comes from the tax payers and the contributions the companies pay for their unemployment insurance. Regardless a portion of it still comes from people who are working.

I recall her warning him, one ride or one game. I was not allowed to throw tantrums like that when I did not get my way. Jobe is the one that wanted to go instead of the sitting around and his mom didn't because she knew she could not afford to let them rude alot of rides. It was still a mistake though but that brat had a fair warning and should be thankful he got one ride at least.

I don't know , that is a good question. I would think MTV would provide them something for their participation. Or at the very least provide them resources to get them some kind of help.

Um because she doesn't pay for and take care of her own kid. she knew her dad;s situation and got pregnant anyway and has not done a damn thing to help the situation that's why. People like that need to quit bringing children into this world they cannot take care of. Is it not fair to the kid or the others around them that are stuck on the hook for someone else's responsibility.

OK but you choose to have the kid. Why should your kid be someone else's responsibility. Have a kid and paying for daycare being difficult does not negate the fact that it is wrong to pawn your kids off on someone else and demand everyone else to pay for them. Paying rent and my car and all my other bills is hard but does that mean someone else should have to pay for it all?

Jobe's mom just said "I am the adult and you are the child." Oh really, then why is the child making more damn money than his mom? Why is the child supporting the family? She needs to STFU and take whatever he dishes out at her. She is a deadbeat and needs to quit throwing a fit whenever reality hits her. She whines and cries all day. Her 17 year old son is playing the role of the adult in that house. She will never make through college because she is lazy and stupid. One word: FAILURE! I also don't believe she did not know that she couldn't go to more than one food bank. I think she wants to just milk everyone for what they're worth. seeing useless human beings like her are what me hate humanity. 000a000aAnd Ashley, you are an able bodied person. GET A JOB AND SUPPORT YOUR OWN KID! Her dad needs to grow a pair and tell that ***** to contribute or move out. She needs to be hitting the pavement and looking a job and she needs to give blood as well. Stop relying on everyone else. I mean she has diaper parties for her son so she don't have to get up off her ass.

Appealing? She is a lazy person who thinks the world revolves around her. She acts like her dad should be responsible for her mistake. Why would anyone be jealous of someone who refuses to take care of herself. She needs to get a job and a clue.

Do you even know where unemployment comes from? I'm sure they're in a better situation now because you apparently don't pay attention to the date this was filmed but again I ask if you know what unemployment is? If not, slap yourself
