On this episode of True Life, we follow Alexa, Lily and Brandon on their quest to be acne-free.
can he drive with those shoes
yay!
I saw this episode yesterday and it reminded me of when I had acne on my face. I tried proactive, neutrogena, clean and clear, clearasil, etc.; it was so depressing. My mom was watching her spanish shows when a Dr. came out and talked about sulfur soap. My mom bought it for me and I has so not willing to try it out. I was against trying out a 3 dollar soap on my face; after 2 months and dessesperation..I tried it out. And it worked. I was so happy with the results. So much money wasted and time, my miracle was this 3 dollar soap. So happy my mom saw this show! I am 24 and have never felt this confident ever.
i dont have acne, but after i saw an accutane recall yesterday, it made me mad that people even consider taking it. i'd try proactive because i know many people who it has worked for. it's been pulled because it can cause: •Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) •Ulcerative Colitis •Crohn's Disease •Birth Defects •Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) •Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) -my opinion, not worth it!
I tried getting in contact with Brandon and Lily and I never could reach them!
Yeah that's good advice!
i have alot of acne but the one thing that helped me the most is WATER drink 8 cups a day or 4 water bottles a day its helps alot and try to cut down on junk food avoid some oils also
I think Brandon is really attractive. I don't think he looks ugly with his acne D:
omg please try proactive i used it and in a week i saw results.. i promice!!!
I thought the same thing!
I remember when my skin was that bad. ugh! anyone who has bad acne should atleast give Accutane a chance. It definently turned my life around!
hi everyone soo listen if anyone is using anything like this prescription for their skin,STOP. i have a much healthier suggestion for you: go you youtube and type in lemon trick, the user is kandeejohnson.unless you have an allergy to sugar or lemons ,its impossible for your skin not to clear up within a week.best of all it cant harm your skin obviousy.its become my addiction.good luck guys.
hey does anyone know if Brandon has a Facebook ?
Hey guys, happy new year...follow me on twitter..www.twitter.com/alexaheller
i thank brandon is cute so what if he has bad skin its whats inside thats cmatters.
is it just me or do lily and alexa look alike?
Hey Tracey, what type of natural treatment did you use?
Hey Buffyslayer, I think steaming is a really great choice. I did Bikram for about a month, it helped my skin detox for sure. It did not cure all my blemishes. I do think steaming will help. Has anyone every done laser or bluelight treatments?
Hey Gertrude, I read your post and wanted to comment on it. Im really glad that accutane is helping you. Just an update on my treatment...I was on accutane for six months and it cleared up my skin. After a year, the acne slowly started to come back. I resorted to taking Birth control for 6 months; however, the side affects were not desireable. Birth control did clear up my skin, but I'd like to find something more Hollistic. Accutane, in my opinion, is short term. After all, it is a drug. When we filmed the episode, I thought that accutane would give me lasting results. Had I known, it was only short term, I would have expressed the issue on the True Life Episode. Everyone's skin is different and reacts differently. Some people may have long term results from using accutane once or twice. Just for the record, accutane messed with my joints and because I am a dancer and enjoy an active lifestyle, I didn't want to take a chance.
