Meet two young men trying the best they can to make up for lost time with their imprisoned parents on this episode of True Life.
Pe'Andre is very inspiring . i hope his brother went with him to visit thee father (:
Pe'Andre is so brave. He's an inspiration. His brother is really lucky to have him. Too bad his parents are too messed up to appreciate it.
Pe'Andre is an amazing inspiration! my daughter was 1 when her father went to prison... and she is now 4 starting school in a week and he is still in prison... he only has 8 months left but its hard!! for myself and my daughter...
I think the hard part is to feel that the person who is supposed to be there for you, decides, they arent worth their time. My father had to ask mt birthday, despite the fact that he was at my birth. I think its harder, when you have known them and wish they can be a father again. Also no matter what, the father is part of us, so without them we miss a part of ourselves.
Austin needs to enjoy the time with his dad and understand him more.
Pe'Andre is beautiful
I just started this episode so my opinions might change. One won't: Pe'Andre is an amazing kid. Wow. I work at a business that helps give schlorships to kids like him that come from straight out nothing and I recommend he tries to get one he seems like a smart kid. I am so proud of him that he joined that group and I only hope he stays on track and does forgive, because wow...I couldn't do that. He must be incredibly strong. I like the other boy, I live a few miles from him. I wish his Dad would promise to stay clean...for him. It's your child or heroin. Really, that decision should not be too difficult for any man, addict or not, with a good heart.
I love Pe'Andre and Joe Joe. They are so brave to be so honest. They are bright handsome young men and I hope they take the world! The pics when they were kids were so sad because they looked so alone. I wish I could hug them and take them for cotton candy, lol! But now they are grown men and I wish them the best. They are survivors. Proud of these young men. All the kids are great. I hope they have all the things they want in life and feel happy inside.
That's exactly the way i feel. My mom and I had a way better life without my dad around
OMG Pe'Andre is so beautiful and I don't mean just the outside. I'm talking in his heart. The part where he is telling Joe-Joe that he needs to forgive their father really touched me. It's true you have to forgive the people who have hurt you especially the people you love because it's good for you not for them. Forgiving only helps the person carrying the load of pain not the other person. I just thought that was a "deep" moment and I respect Pe'Andre for that and hopefully it will open his brother's eyes too.
FREE WEEZIE!!!
both of my parents are ex cons and i had to learn to forgive...those are my perents and they do what they can to keep me safe so....**** happens its time to forgive these people bcuz they are just as sorry as u are ..and **** jus was never supposed to happen that way
great episode i am glad it had a happy ending. i am so proud of everyone involved.
lol.....Austin's dad too funny.....the way he was movin the fone...lol!
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's called being a human being and making mistakes
I've already watched this a few times so far On Demand and it's very emotional
who would date these jail birds i dont see who some women would put up with a prison record
We made it.
My dad was in my life for 1 year. When I was a year old my dad went to prison. He is still there... 19 years later. And it has sucked but I just need to remember that God put him there for a reason and i who am I am to doubt God's plan.
Has anyone else had the same problem of these shows starting in the middle of the show instead of at the beginning and also skipping parts, its a pain in the "a double s" especially having to watch twice the amount of commercials!! I hope they fix this soon! :o)
