Spirits "speak" to me, and I can tell you, its nothing as its portrayed here. These children are self-deluded and manipulating others emotions. True contact... the voices, they never cease. It's a plague, a curse... I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. I'd just end it all now, if only I didn't know what was waiting for me on the other side... just the icy cold abyss.... the eternal torment... i hear them screaming again... oh God, save me... save US...

Great episode! Thank you MTV for another episode of True Life that approaches the subject realistically and with compassion. I know there's some folks who disbelieve in what they do, but as a psychic myself I can tell these folks are all for real. I am glad to see that Brooke, Chris, and Sammie Jo embrace what they can do as a gift, and do not let fear from themselves or others get in the way of using their gift to help others.000a000aLove and blessings from Maryland!

I'm okay with people believing what they want to believe, it's just when "psychics" take advantage of people emotionally and monetarily that it becomes an issue.

i think the bible does say that she has a gift....i cant quote but i know it says that we are god and we all are made from god and have god like abilities and not everyone has the same abilities. quick question to those who think its the devil: really does the devil have good intentions? if that is that they help people have a piece of mind to move on in life and continue their journey? why or what does the devil benefit? i don't get it

These psychics cannot rely on "feel-good" feelings and warm, happy intentions as a basis for going against scripture. There is a reason God does not want people to pursue this, and if Sammi Jo is a real Christian, she must understand that her experiences are not valid enough to disobey what God says. Now I know this comment probably won't be accepted by many, but my point is if you claim to be a Christian, you can't lean on your own understanding if it contradicts the Lord. Our reasoning will always be flawed because we are flawed. Granted, I also get a lot of people don't like the Bible, they thinks its outdated, or written by men so its foolish, and all that other crap (we could argue for days) but my point is if you are going to back being a psychic is a gift from God, make sure it really is a gift. I really wish the best for all three.

And I've always wondered, how are these psychics sure that the spirits are harmless remnants from the past; couldn't they be malevolent demons stirring up sh**. Just curious...I'm sure bad spirits have no problem being deceitful.

sammie jo.. just because some youth 'pastor' says its not of christian .. dosent mean anything... what those types of christans dont UNDERSTAND is that the BIBLE is written by man.. who were prophets for the word... NOT BY GOD... ur life should never be defined by what those men have said. YOUR work is a blessing given to by God... dont ever doubt that.. or listen to them!

Sammi Jo, if you really are a believer in Christ then you need to research spiritual giftings very thouroughly because you have been gifted as a prophet (I can't be sure but almost certain). All christians should be aware of the supernatural abilities they have been gifted with because they are meant as a tool for the body of Christ. My advice for you is to go find a Spirit-filled church in your area that believes in the understanding and strategic use of spiritual gifts so that you can develope your gift in a safe and loving way. If you keep yourself isolated and don't use your gifts for the glory of God then you will fall into spiritism which is a counterfiet to the real thing. The pastor you talked with probably doesn't believe in the use of spiritual gifts so don't go to his church. Here are some helpful scriptures because what you have is in the Bible: Ephesians 4:11, Romans 12:6-8, and 1 Corinthians 12.

not trying to attack you but i dont get why dont you believe in god . its like the world couldnt just appear like this. someone had to create it. its like a portrait that appeared. you couldnt just see it like that . you would have to think someone painted it.

Alot that is in the Bible is guidelines, some stories on how to live... Aslo, alot that is true is missing from the Bible... I am not Christian myself...
