I noticed a lot of comments keep referring back to the Bible. For any who may be genuinely interested in what the Bible shows as the true condition of the dead, please look at Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10. and Psalms 146:4. The dead do have a wonderful hope for the future, but no ability to communicate with the living at this time. According to Bible verses psychics and mediums are really contacting dangerous spirits instead.

for the young ladybthat was told that whAAT SHE was doing was not blessed by god that is alie. call them what you want but many people are given gifts by god all different put god first and keep reaching to help people with your paranormal gifts. This was a great episode. I especially wanted to watch Brooke's information, but for some odd reason....any time her time came on the screen when she was talking about there was a spirit, then my computer would start playing garbled audio like someone was fast forwarding the audio. As soon as her part went off then the audio would return to normal. I have future dreams too when I am at peace......5 wks later they come true.

This stuff is all real, the video doesn't get into the half of it. I know from experience and mediums and psychics do have to be careful not to attract the wrong type (unless they want to help them and know how to without becoming harmed themselves).

JShukitis, you are just having a different experience then the people in this video. It doesn't negate their experience. To me, it sounds like you have a lot of dark entity attachments. there are ways to get this healed. I hope you receive this reply - if you do, reply back and I can refer you to someone for help. There are a lot of kind and loving spirits/angels. And there is no cold dark abyss or torment waiting for you - it's these dark entities lying to you. I wish you peace and a lot of blessings.

I also have the ability to hear & see shadowy figures w/ the death! as well as dream about events to happen in the future! I hope I am able to develop this "skill."

Spirits "speak" to me, and I can tell you, its nothing as its portrayed here. These children are self-deluded and manipulating others emotions. True contact... the voices, they never cease. It's a plague, a curse... I don't know how much longer I can go on like this. I'd just end it all now, if only I didn't know what was waiting for me on the other side... just the icy cold abyss.... the eternal torment... i hear them screaming again... oh God, save me... save US...

Great episode! Thank you MTV for another episode of True Life that approaches the subject realistically and with compassion. I know there's some folks who disbelieve in what they do, but as a psychic myself I can tell these folks are all for real. I am glad to see that Brooke, Chris, and Sammie Jo embrace what they can do as a gift, and do not let fear from themselves or others get in the way of using their gift to help others.000a000aLove and blessings from Maryland!

I'm okay with people believing what they want to believe, it's just when "psychics" take advantage of people emotionally and monetarily that it becomes an issue.

i think the bible does say that she has a gift....i cant quote but i know it says that we are god and we all are made from god and have god like abilities and not everyone has the same abilities. quick question to those who think its the devil: really does the devil have good intentions? if that is that they help people have a piece of mind to move on in life and continue their journey? why or what does the devil benefit? i don't get it

These psychics cannot rely on "feel-good" feelings and warm, happy intentions as a basis for going against scripture. There is a reason God does not want people to pursue this, and if Sammi Jo is a real Christian, she must understand that her experiences are not valid enough to disobey what God says. Now I know this comment probably won't be accepted by many, but my point is if you claim to be a Christian, you can't lean on your own understanding if it contradicts the Lord. Our reasoning will always be flawed because we are flawed. Granted, I also get a lot of people don't like the Bible, they thinks its outdated, or written by men so its foolish, and all that other crap (we could argue for days) but my point is if you are going to back being a psychic is a gift from God, make sure it really is a gift. I really wish the best for all three.

And I've always wondered, how are these psychics sure that the spirits are harmless remnants from the past; couldn't they be malevolent demons stirring up sh**. Just curious...I'm sure bad spirits have no problem being deceitful.
