Brett and Brett are two young men who are having a difficult time dealing with some abnormally aggressive house pets. Both try to find positive solutions to their tricky animal problems.
I kept watching to see what happened to Hamsome! :D
I think both mother and son are very right here...it seems that neither truly care about resolving the issue, in fact it almost seems as though the son uses it as an excuse to play games all day. I honestly don't see the son being too angry about the situation as they both smirk, mother seems like a good mom and her son spoke wonderfully about her. Although I don't necessarily agree with the situation, I don't think she is a bad mother, I think there is a lot going on here that nobody catches. If that dog was to be caged while mom and son bonded and hugged per say, over time I think that in itself would set him straight. I think neither really cares because it gives the son an excuse to be lazy and the mom an excuse to not be upset about that. He lives at home with his mother and plays games all day. I think that's the reality of the situation, NO BIG DEAL GUYS. Nobody here is crazy. They're both good people!
I can't deal with how STUPID his mother is with that dog. "You have to make him like you. You have to give him treats." She's a damn IDIOT! She obviously doesn't know the first thing about dog training/care.
Are you nuts. Your son obviously was on the show complaining. I always laugh how people on the show can go and put their lives out there but will say whatever need be to try and difect the heat they get. You're a dumb clueless jerk who needs to love their kids instead of putting animals between your blood.
I used to want a miniature pot bellied pig because I assumed that because they're bred small that they stay piglet sized, but I've seen several cases where they end up huge and hard to handel so I wont be getting one anymore. The guy should have known better 20 mins is not that far. Seriously? I have no sympathy for him.
Thanks, Ann! I'm actually very close to both my boys and Brett wasn't complaining when he got on MTV :)
I love the guy who owned the pig!! He is so sweet with Hamsome, it melts my heart. I loved watching their reunion, so so so sweet. More people need to be like that with their pets.
The issue with the dog and the kid and his mom is not about the dog... it's about him needing more love and attention from his mom.000a000aAlso, you should know that a pig may get big and shouldn't eat dog food. How irresponsible! Come on, man.
Super crazy divorced look? I didn't know there was such a thing. The episode never mentioned her being divorced, in fact, it mentioned her raising her sons on her own their whole lives. Way to make YOURSELF look like a judgmental jerk.
Demon poodle and humping pig.....I love True Life.
Brett needs to just move out. It's pathetic that the OTHER DOG has to correct the bad dog. When your other animals are disciplining your animals, something is very wrong. I thought it was sweet the way the other dog protected Brett, and nipped at Chip when he barked at Brett. The mother is crazy and it's disgusting that she blames her son for her problems controlling her dog.
That mom sucks. What an evil *****! And a horrible mother! She's like.."Go to your room" " You're ruining his happy place" "It;s your fault"000aI'd get rid of it. Make it "run away" lol. that kid is stupid stand up for yourself!!000ai
I can hear it but cant see ****
Again, please use a harness. It's more effective and you're not choking your animal.
Brett's mom is a brat.
Uh, yea, the mother is holding, petting and coddling that freaking mop of a dog...encouraging the dog to keep barking his little head off.
I feel awful for Brett poor guy is a prisoner in his own house :(
Brett's mother is an absolutely horrid pet parent; and arguably not the best mother in general. Dogs are pack animals; they need a leader and if one is not present, they will make themselves the leader. The mom sending her son to his room to get the dog to stop barking is totally ***-backwards. That is a temporary solution to a permanent problem--and it won't change unless she puts on her big girl pants and actually tells that dog no for once instead of laughing at him for barking and snapping at her son. And when she does scold him (which is rare), she does it in a half-assed manner. It's seriously not that hard. Some people just shouldn't own certain animals.
that mom was pathetic! when MTV posted the follow up as ''she is looking forward to a quieter home'' i was like *** O_o......how sad, and he wants to pursue acting? he is a really good actor, being able to keep things ''funny'' with his mom and the dog takes a lot of heart...i felt bad for him, if i was in the mom's situation, i would have looked for a new home for the dog, no animal is higher priority than my children....and what the pig owner did was really responsible, glad it ended well ^_^
All of these people are infuriating. If you are too lazy to learn how to take care of a pet you have no business having one. ***.
