Caitlin, Adam and Aja achieved finanical success at an early age -- only to see their fortunes wiped out when the recession hit.
the girl who has the 3 jobs and the boyfriend lives in hawaii, well i think she cries cux she didnt want a face reality and go back home. aja i hope shes doing better now! adam has some jerk of friends and that gf of his shouldnt have just dump him when he needed mostly help.
I don't understand that either. My boyfriend and I went through a hard time when he was laid off, but I never would have left him! When people are down, that is the time they need their significant other the most. She was just a sucky partner..
First off people should commend her for trying to keep her kids in private school, not all public school are good depending where you live. Why not commend her for not having to much pride and accepting WIC. You have ******* that lay up buss out kids just to get on welfare thats food stamps, free housing, free health insurance and so forth. Id rather know my tax dollars are helping women who try to work
How bout she did have a job and all those years of getting taxes withdrawn shyt she earned her WIC vouchers........ Hope you saving for a storm. Not to mention her husband left her when the money ran out. Mary you sound dumb as box of rocks
This goes for everyone on this episode: 1- Be self-sufficient & live within your means. 2- WORK HARD & SAVE! 3- Repeat steps 1 & 2 and you'll be alright.
I agree with Maria & Antoinette. I'm a single mom with 3 kids and there is no excuse for not working. I do not receive child support so I don't have a choice. Why is she teaching etiquette classes when her kids are depressed and hungry? Are you kidding me? I've taken jobs at local fast food chains, restaurants & offices to make ends meet. You do what you have to do and forego private schools if it's between that and food on the table. This just comes down to pride because clearly her jet-plane lifestyle probably left her feeling like lower paying/profile jobs were't good enough for her. That just seems irresponsible. I don't know her full situation, and I know a lot of folks are faced with making tough calls, but I have no patience for people who act like victims. Especially when you live in America. I truly hope things work out for them.
Aja is ridiculous. Sending her kids to private school when she's on a federal food assistance program?? they should have to check where you are spending your money before you get any government money. haven't seen the whole episode yet but this is ridiculous.
It was kinda funny to see caitlin on the where are they now episode, here wanting an amazing life in hawaii with her bf who would take care of her, and to see them basically living in the woods with no luxuries that she was use to and wanted.
Adam's friends are dicks.
she did too but as you see, unexpected things happen. Hope you're putting money away for a rainy day.
Aja's fall is pretty bad and Adam's girlfriend is a bit nasty. Makes me think that a) I should save up as much as possible when the going is good and b) search for a significant other who will ACTUALLY support me through the thick and the thin, not a fair-weather lover who will only stick around when things are only good.
You can't compare your position with hers.. also, she has 3 children while you have one.
I feel like all of their situations could have been avoided if they had just had a back-up plan, especially Aja, when you have kids you have to have something saved away for a rainy day, you can't take a chance on thinking your job is always gonna be around.
I was thinking the same thing too!
I hope Adam opens his eyes and sees that his ex- was just there for the money not for him. As for Aja, I have a son and I still don't have a degree but I still manage to live my life and have 2 jobs and have a great apartment and new car. All this is called HARD WORK AND DEDICATION!!!!
Adam's girlfriend ****** me off. How can you turn your back on your man when he needs you most? That's not love....
Poor her she is on denial...!!
WIC = Woman Infant Child
