Spend a few minutes with Austin and find out what he thought about the filming of True Life: I Have a Parent in Prison.
I can relate to this episode. I never really have had my dad in my life. I haven't talked to him for 2years and I feel I can't forgive him. I know I should but sometimes I feel that why would he care about me now. When I needed him the most he wasn't there. I hope to one day forgive him but I don't know when that will be. I'm really glad these guys got to rebuild the realtionship back again with their dads. Having someone there as a parent or role model to teach you is very important. I thank God everyday for my mother she's such a great woman. I love her for loving me.
When i saw this true life episode it was like i kind of understood what they were going through. Even though i never had a parent in prison i know what its like not having your father in your life. I wish them all the best and hope things work out.
I Love you
hi i need help i need to know how to contact mtv to possibly film on this show i have a parent in prison any help please!!!!!!
I can't even explain how much this episode hit home. I'm 21, and my dad has been in prison since I was two months old. He FINALLY got his parole and will be headed to a rehab center for a few weeks starting April 6th, then he will be home. I've never been a big MTV fan, but I just had to watch tonights episode. I'm sure both boys can relate.. it's not like there's a whole lot of people outside my family that can understand what it's like. So best of luck to you both, and thank you for sharing!
