I recently in November met up with an ex boyfriend of mine from high school, and he and I went out 4 1/2 years ago now, during my junior and his sophomore year, and before that, we were friends for 3 years before we started going out, but unfortunately, our relationship didn't work out as well as we both hoped it would, and the breakup ruined our friendship, and I was so hurt, and he was too, but whenever I'd see him in school after that, he'd look like he was doing fine, but from what everything he told me like how he felt after the breakup, he was hurting about as much as I was, and guys don't usually admit things like that. Right before we met, he did apologize to me for hurting me, and I knew he meant it from his heart, unlike most guys who would just do a fake apology just because they think it's what the girl wants to hear and to also be manipulative. I wasn't expecting him to apologize to me at all. We met up at the local Vons where we live, since he lives just over the wall from there, and as soon as I turned around and saw him walking towards me, I quickly jogged over and gave him a hug. So, he and I are kinda like long lost friends/ex bf/gf. I know I definitely wouldn't want to have a boyfriend who would get all weird like Jason did just because I talk to my ex.
