The Liberia and Libya episodes are waaay too short. I've seen the full version of Liberia trip on other sites but I can't find the full version of the Libya trip and I'd really like to see it.
I honestly don't think that this was aimed at making Epanola people look like druggies and gangsters. This show is about showing populations of people and events that the nation as a whole may not know about and may find interesting. The high percentage (which is proly due to the small population) was seen as an abnormality in the grand scheme of the united states, therefore it was reported on, I can almost guarantee there was no attack on Epanola.
DOES NOT WORK AND NEITHER DOES EP 5
love it!
love this show
Jolene--Couldn't agree more--then again MTV gave us snookie, and beavis and butthead... The guy that covered the story was an ass clown--asi es la vida. We know and that's what counts.
I am throughly upset with MTV for the way they portrayed Espanola, New Mexico. As some one who lives in this town I can personally say that doing drugs or lowriding or "shooting people over botched drug deals" are not the only activities that occur here. This a specifc group of people they showed in this video and that is only one hobby they have. Yes, there are overdoses here like there are in any city but being such a small town the percentage is larger. MTV portayed the people from Espanola as being drug users or mexican gangters who drive lowriders. I can personally attest to being neither and I am appaled at this.
