We check out the films driven by America's epic drug demand, visit an all-white South African town, try to survive the sewers of Bogota and hang out with Korean boy bands.
Looking forward to seeing some more on K-Pop Shane. If you include the part where the Vatican & the GNP pays to have artists wear crucifix jewelry and military uniforms, I'll give you an awesome tour of the Seoul underground.
the world is fked becuz all u can do is say go fk urself to ppl who care about different things. how bout u go to colombia and try to stop the deaths. ppl die everyday, if we had the power to kill everybody that was hunting those ppl we would have done it by now. so if girls care about k-pop stars let them, this show is about showing ppl the different things thats happening in the world, and ppl can choose what they want to care about
ok wow, these comments are just disrespectful. some of yall are making ppl who like k-pop seem uncareing. so there are kids being burned, we are sad about that, i personally almost cried becuz of it but still we can't stop death from happening. ppl die everyday and unforuntaly ppl being hunted isnt something we can control in countries like that. so we do have feelings but the boy bands also have a right to complain too, they're working their butts off for a fame that may never even come. compared to american artists they got guts, anybody who can sythensize their voices in the states become stars, it sucks and its bullcrap. i prefer to listen to k-pop, j-pop before i listen to an american artist. everything has gone down hill for the states. Keep working hard Teen Top, SHINee, Big Bang, etc.
lol I am too contrite I think the foriegn music industries should be looked into and talked about and how in every Kdrama they are playing more of our music than thier own.
I agree Kpop is cool I like it but my mind is filled with the thought of burning children
Roll back, look motown took diamonds and made them better alright because I am sure you have heard lives done by aretha franklin, patt labelle, jackson five they didn't have syntherisizers and you couldnt pop a cd in while they sang... yeah right they are the same hah
Ryan is hot! :D
the episode works now!
Episode 5 hasnt been working for weeks
this is the best show on MTV. Shane is so killer.
I love the vice guide to everything! I hope MTV keeps it around based on reading everyones comments it has people thinking.... and yeah its beyond awful that people get hunted down like animals today and the UN does nothing about it.
Finally Kpop gets some love as it's shown on US TV. 'Bout time! I've been waiting for this day for a while now. I also have been waiting since June to watch this segment. XD And YAY! BIG BANG and RAIN!!! <3 Love Big Bang and Rain...but do either of those really count as a "boy band"? For one Rain is one person...o_O XD And Big Bang GD had been preparing music since he was in grade school, not all groups are just about the image. Maybe the usual cookie-cutter Kpop bands. But again pre-fab groups have existed since the 60's come on...its not like its a new and odd thing. The segment was brief and some what rushed.
Shane Smith is the ****.!
The Kpop segment was too short... but its good that it got some world attention ...(i only watched the kpop part)
This is ****.Everyone from Motown WAS manufactured like Kpop.and motown has on its LIST the biggest artist like Micheal Jackson. just sayin'
and the fact that people elsewhere are killed daily doesn't make you sick?
How is it possible that the korean pop scene is more important to someone than the fact that people elsewhere in the world are hunted and killed in horrible ways?
***!!! YOU **** YOURSELF KPOP IS SO IMPORTANT FOR SOME PEOPLE LIKE ME!!!!!
they were burning ppl to death in colombia and all i see in this fking chat is "persons" whining about the korean little pop millionare stars . go fk ur selfs , no wonder why this world is so fked up.
You know, since they only gave the "Colombian Death Squads that set people on fire and kill random street people" segment four minutes, I figure three minutes is pretty damned generous for stupid Korean boy bands.
