In this series premiere episode we meet Maxx and Julie, and enter the gritty world they inhabit.
I loved it when MTV stood for music tv and independent entertainment ....
I miss these shows growing up as a kid...why don't you have a throwback weekend where you show all the odditie shows back in the 90's. We can show the new generation how much cooler it was back in the day!!! :)
I wish they still showed stuff like this on MTV
All this time later, I STILL love the show. Fantastic! ;D
YES!!!...I was beginning to think I was the only one to remember The Head
Man I remember trying to sneak and watch this show when I was younger.... thanks MTV you did it with this one..... what about the Head????
wow, a long time the last time seen this show
The Maxx is available on DVD. Commentaries, bonus features and everything. But you can only buy it through Amazon. Part of a deal where with certain titles they only make the dvds as they're ordered.
Awesome. I think Ralph Bakshi is the only other guy who would make wierd creative choices like this. The only medium missing is puppets. SEASON 2 NOW!
WTB on dvd.
Please, Please release this on DVD! I will buy the box set, and so will all the other fanboys!

Man, how could the quality and style of this animation be so much better than anything else we see on TV nowadays? Kick-ass cartoon right here.
Awesome! I love the comic and hope Closed Captioning can be added.
Thank you SO MUCH for making this available. Really hope a DVD release is in the future.
It picks up the pace a bit during the second episode.
