You can't choose who you're related to but you can choose who you associate yourself with... Stephanie's a bit thick but at least she doesn't defend Spencer's horrible behavior. Heidi gave up her friendships and now her family for someone else.

Oh sure. Lauren should be there for the friend who supported the lies her boyfriend spread about Lauren.
Its not the same. Heidi and Lauren were really good friends long before Spencer even came into the picture. But once Heidi started dating Spencer, she started to change for the worse. That's why Lauren doesn't want to be friends with Heidi.....because Heidi is not the same person she used to be and its because of Spencer's influence. Why would Lauren, or anyone for that matter, want to stay friends with someone who changed from the really wonderful person that they used to be? Stephanie, on the other hand, didn't choose to be around Spencer like Heidi did. That's her brother and so he'll be in her life forever. But despite the fact that her brother's an a**hole, she's been a pretty good friend to Lauren. Heidi stopped being a good friend to Lauren when Spencer entered her life.
