I think that Lauren is the meanest girl on the show. She holds court over all her friends and she's extremely judgemental and catty. I didn't get into the show until Kristen Cavvaleri came on.

I miss the old episodes. When Audrina, Lauren, and Heidi were the 3 bestest friends. Heidi and Lauren still lived in that small apartment. They tanned by the pool with Audrina. Lo was just a memory from Laguna. Spencer never existed and Heidi was actually still pretty.

Also, Lauren is SO controlling... she wants to control who her friends hang out with (i.e. not hanging out with Heidi) she wants to control who her friends date (When Audrina first started dating Justin Bobby, When Heidi started dating Spencer, When Jen hooked up with Brody and now Stephanie and Doug) she needs to learn that she cant control EVERYBODY. Her friends are too desperate to be friends with her for some reason (probably bc they dont want to get kicked off of the show) that nobody will flat out tell her when she is wrong.
I agree, its ridiculous she acts like she is still in highschool! Stephanie, as her friend should have gone to Lauren and said "I just want to let you know that Doug asked me out and I am going to say yes to him bc I like him" She doesnt need Laurens permission to date one of Laurens many ex crushes.
I dont blame lauren being mad about stephanie. stephanie should've waited until she talked with lauren about it. even though doug and lauren didnt work out it doesn't matter she still should have asked. lauren mosst likely would have said yes to stephanie.

Oh my gosh...when Doug and Steph are out to dinner and Brody's mom came, the friend she was with was Taylor from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I don't know how I even noticed but that's pretty crazy.
