Technically speaking if it weren't for mtv, Lauren wouldn't have Audrina. MTV scouted and was looking for people, that's how Audrina ended up on the show. It wasn't just some fat coincidence. And the difference between Stephanie and Heidi is that Stephanie has not been party to all of Spencer's nasty crap toward Lauren; she's family, she is more or less stuck with him and his behavior, but she made it clear that "he's a jerk" so she doesn't condone the behavior. Heidi on the other hand just made excuse after excuse about Spencer and everything he did. I think it's just too painful for Lauren and Heidi to be friends because they've just had too much damage between them, whereas Stephanie is someone new who has never done anything to Lauren (besides the club thing and that was just stupid, she was probably wasted). And they were friends first by like, a few hours. Lauren came home from the Teen Vogue interview and there Heidi was at the pool with Audrina who she'd just met earlier that day. It didn't really seem like they were that much closer than Lauren and Audrina. Even so, I don't think how much longer they were friends than her and Lauren matters.
Watch 2nd season. If you already have, watch it again, closely. Heidi continually chose Spencer over Lauren, pushed Lauren's best friend to hook up with a guy Lauren really liked and had been seeing, tried to pin that on everyone she could, moved out all of a sudden to live with someone who treated her poorly and did a bunch of crap to Lauren, and either helped Spencer spread the sex tape rumor or at the very least knew it was going on and did nothing to even try to stop the behavior, and never even checked in on Lauren when it was all happening. It got back to Laguna Beach and her parents, so there's no way she didn't know about it, she just really didn't care about hurting Lauren's feelings and then tried to act all innocent and play the victim with the housewarming party situation. But the bottom line is that Lauren decided not to be friends with Heidi because Spencer did terrible things to her, and Heidi sat back and did nothing. Her argument has always been "I didn't do anything" well that's her problem. She's a doormat and lets Spencer treat Lauren badly because she's insecure and desperate for love/attention.
I mean I kinda feel bad for Heidi and that she really has no friends but at the same time she chose that life. She didn't seem to care about that when she continued to choose Spencer over her friends and when she was back home with her parents when they met Spencer her attitude was kind of like, I don't care if I have friends as long as I have Spencer. It sucks for her but she made that choice. She shouldn't really complain when she chose it in the first place.
I don't get Lauren sometimes...she gets so angry when Audrina and Heidi start to hang out again but when Audrina and Lo do not like the fact that Stephanie is hanging out with Lauren, Lauren does not want them to do anything about it. At the same time, Lauren hangs out Stephanie and Holly but she cannot hang with Heidi because of rumors...I know of that some friends go through much worse than rumors.
Because Heidi spread rumors about Lauren. Stephanie never did something like that to Lauren.
I agree with Heidi! how can Lauren be friends with Stephanie, whose Spencers sister, and not be friends with Heidi, whose Spencers girlfriend?
and why does she have a problem with spencer jkim478? exactly because of the rumours, yes she didnt like him, yes she didnt want spencer as the boyfriend of heidi but all of that wasnt the reason her and heidi werent friends anymore, it was only when the rumours were spread she broke off al contacts.. how would you feel if your best friend would just sit back and dont say anything while there are rumours spread about you

I love Lauren and I will always be team Lauren but she is always giving out her "be careful" speech to her friends...but yet when her friends try to look out for her and tell her to be careful she wants none of it...maybe she needs to learn to take what she dishes out is all.

Come on, I understand Lauren is upset at Heidi, because of everything that happened, but being that rude to Audrina?? I just don't get it. Besides, Audrina is Lauren's best friend for a long time, does Lauren think that Audrina all of a sudden is now going to switch to Heidi's team? Audrina is just caught in the middle, it's a shame Lauren can't see that.

I love Whitney; she's rational, sincere and you can tell she's working her butt off (her eyes look a little tired) and she's still so naturally pretty, her hair is amazing !!
Seriously, Audrina should have respected Lauren more and NOT let Heidi in the apartment.
