As much as I dislike Spencer, when you all get to season 5 episode 9, he shows he can be a good person. It's also proof he spread the rumors about Lauren. ...But then he loses it and goes completely nuts.
I normally don't like Heidi and Spencer, but the two of them at the end of this episode is the sweetest I've seen them. You can actually see there being a genuine love between the both of them, or at least something like it. Sadly, they both have gone really crazy since this episode so all of that sweetness is practically null and void. Oh well. Nice while it lasted.

if i was heidi i would def. be calling his parents to see if he was lying about staying the night with them... cuz i def. dont believe that... i mean if hes not close enough with his parents or in contact enough with them to tell them that he wants to marry heidi.and is planning on it.. then i dont see how he would be able to just show up at there house outta nowhere and just stay the night...
I agree with TXgurl. Once they are married they share everything and then she loses everything.
Because once they are married he totally controls her. If she wants to leave him, he can take half on what she owns, half her money...marriage, not matter how romatic it can seem, is truly a ball and chain kind of deal. Having a baby, that's even worse!
Hiedi had all the warning signs she needed to ditch Spencer. I mean, he just kept getting strike after strike after strike and red flags were waving...why do girls stay with guys like that?
