But the thing is if Brody knew for a fact that Spencer did it, how could Heidi have NO clue? I mean they were living together and were around each other like all the time.... there's no way she didn't know, she's just trying to justify being with someone who would do that. Plus Brody has never really done anything to betray Lauren's trust at this point whereas Heidi has lied and ditched and been a bad friend to the point that Lauren couldn't possibly be expected to trust her word when she has every reason to believe Spencer did it and Heidi was in on it.
I agree with you that Heidi can't control Spencer but she never even approached Lauren when all the rumors were going around. She obviously knew about them, since she pinned it on Brody then in ep. 7 she was like "maybe they're back in their movie making action" which was way inappropriate and just proved she was in on it. I can tell she misses Lauren and I think Lauren misses the friendship they used to have but honestly if my best friend's boyfriend did that to me and my friend did nothing to stop it and never even asked me about it/made sure I was okay.... that's not someone I would want to be friends with. Bottom line I think she wants to forgive Heidi but too much has happened for them to be real friends again and I don't see anything wrong with that.
Brody and Lauren weren't really friends when the whole rumors thing was going on, so he didn't owe it to her as much as, say, Heidi, who had been her best friend for years. She wanted Heidi to say sorry SOONER, but to wait until months after when everything is already out there and they aren't close anymore was too long. Too little, too late. If Brody knows Spencer was responsible, I highly doubt Heidi had NO idea whatsoever. She also never reached out to Lauren when all of it was happening even to see how she was doing or if she needed anything, and that's not how best friends should be at all. I think Lauren wants to believe Heidi and accept her apology but it's too late and she's still so angry. Look how long it took her to forgive Jen and that wasn't nearly as bad as what Heidi did.
Spencer should be happy that Heidi wants to fix it with Lauren. I guess he's not because he's a controlling jerk.
I miss Lauren's pony tales, she used to wear them a lot back in Laguna Beach. :D
I think the only reason why Heidi confronted Lauren at that party is because she is totally kicking herself in the ass for alienating herself from all of her girlfriends. She misses her friends and wants them back, but she doesn't know how to be a big person and admit her wrongdoings. It's pretty immature of her to think that she hasn't done anything wrong when none of her girlfriends talk to her anymore.

A little too late for an apology, she waited too long and still refuses to admit to what her and her bf did. Lauren has every right not to forgive her and want to forget a friend like that.

"i want to forgive u and i want to forget u" the best line this whole season so far. and thats is messed up that someone (spencer and heidi) would go so far to make someone else (lauren) feel like dirt people nowadays are mean. that song at the end of the episode is so uplifting.
Heidi kinda threw herself under the bus at the party. She said "what you did with your ex boyfriend has nothing to do with me." so she basically beat around the bush saying that she believes the rumors about the tapes.
if my best friends boyfriend was starting the most horrific rumors about me and my bestfriend knew that and didnt do anything then she would have to go. i admire LC for not playing the victim in this even though she was. Heidi is stupid for spencer shes like a dog thats hangs on his coat tail which is sad and pathetic, she had a hand in the rumors by not doing wats right even if she ddnt start them. LC did right

Why does Spencer dislike Lauren so much? It seems like there might have been something that happened in the past and was not mentioned in the hills. Because when heidi first met spencer he said I don't like her very much. I wonder why!?
...if my "best friend" had a boyfriend that spread nasty rumors about me..im pretty much done with that friend because...well she can't even stand up to her boyfriend which means she can't even stand up for me. theres no rm for ppl like heidi in the house of LC. and Brody doesn't involve himself in drama, while heidi loves it if she didn't she wouldnt be w/ spencer. :D heidi was LC's BEST friend..Brody was mearly an acquaintance then....gosh LC has every right to be upset. :D
I do not for 1 second believe that Heidi had no idea what was going on here...talk about Naive. Lauren excepted her apology but did not want to be her friend anymore, whats wrong with that? If my friend had a mean boyfriend who did mean thins to me, I am not sure I would want to continue being her friend either...When you mature, you learn from your mistakes....Sounds like YOU need to grow up a bit...
i agree! heidi is trying so hard to bury the hatchet and lc isnt havin it... plusd i think heidi has matured a lot with takin her job seriously and being in a serious relationship etc so i think she just doesnt want to run into lauren in social situations and it turn into a hostile fiasco!
