Lauren was trying to protect her friend. She knew what kind of guy Spencer was from the moment she met him. Being with Jason and having the experience of being with a guy who is total d-bag gives Lauren the right to try to protect her friend. Heidi is a lousy friend. She never tried to protect Lauren from Jason, she just kept letting her make dumbass decisions. Plus, the way she shoved Lauren off to the side and stopped taking care of their friendship after she met Spencer shows that she has little concern about having a true friendship.

i fell kinda bad for Hedi cause you know she tried to hangout with them and their just planning stuff out. but on the other side Hedi did stop hanging out with her bff lauren
