this song and video have really good messages!plus, the song itself is just plain awsome!
love this song and the video.
love the song
This is the picture of America today! We can do anything we imagine & look at how we waste it. It's sad to see millions of people spending endless hours on the greatest communication tool ever idolising "beautiful" & materialistic people. & when we recieve a widespread message of reflection & change we fail to understand the meaning that it brings. The Flobots make me proud to live in Denver & to be a part of the future. It's the people who lack the intelligence to see the urgency in the metaphors & symbolism of this video & compare it to "Weird Al" that make me ashamed to be an American. While they sit idly by criticizing the appearance of the video, they allow the message to go un-noticed. They are the cattle of today & the prisoners of tomorrow. Welcome to the new millenium America! We are the leaders of the future & the rebels of today! Unite your voices, hold your heads & hands up high! We control the government, they do not control us! We hold the keys in our hands & the future in our visions. Where are you driving to? www.fightwithtools.org
This is more then just a "plain" old rap song. This has a lot of symbolism in it. Like the 'C', for corporation and capitalism and the dove for peace. I can not express enough how much this has to do with our current situation, and president. I may only be fourteen, but that doesn't mean I'm ignorant to what is going on in the news and politics. We have to change what is happening before it's to late and we all really do die in a holocaust.
This is my more favorite song on this album! I have loved this song since I first heard it over a year ago! This band rocks and I can't wait for more of their music! Awesome video!
this is a really good song but a kindof bad music video
The Song itself is a powerful record in a Political way
Vigilante well said man this video is well made with lots of details it really is political which adds to the song which is amazing!
Ms. Fuego finds this video "lousy". My question is, what exactly did you expect? Bling bling and a ton of dancing? Honestly, you love this song, but hate the video. I find that funny, considering the video utilizes great symbolism in regard to the very song it's describing. How about this entire controversy begins with something simple and ends with the same simplicity in which it began? Or how about the issue where two friends go two separate ways like many do in life and the first half of the video goes through the description of how that perspective was one of the people and the second half concerns the other where he becomes "consumed" through corporate/political power? How about when two birds are flying in the air, and the bigger, darker one destroys the pure, white one and leaves the stain forever in the air to echo on for the atrocities that have occurred? but yet, at the same time, shows that it is just the way of life? How about in the end when they combine both perspectives into one saying that their cause is noble? Because both sides of those persons could easily say that to justify themselves. Which, ultimately means, they're both right, they're both wrong. How about the controversy of highways blotting out the sun, taking over the average American citizen and quite possibly driving them out of their homes? How about the "Big Brother" controversy where every camera seems to be watching you, and so on. I could go on, and on because that's how much details these guys put into a video to describe and help amplify the very thing in which they're saying with each word in the lyrics. This song is beautiful, and perfect. As is the video that supports it. Perhaps people like you should learn to appreciate things of this nature more or not bother leaving comments. I have delivered the several reasons why this albums is incredible. If you can deliver several reasons why this video is "lousy" or "bad", please, by all means, I'm all ears. If you don't care for it, say you don't care for it. If you feel it would be wiser just to keep your mouth shut because you're too used to Justin Timberlake videos, then don't bother leaving comments. That is all. This album rocks. This song rocks. This video ROCKS. Some of you close-minded, hypocritcal people... are idiots.
lousy video but great song
