Whitney is such a sweet girl and I think this is so rare for big cities like NY where everyone wants to be successful. Olivia is obivously jelaous of Whitney, but you can't blame her for that. Every boss liked Whit so far for her professionalism and serious attitude towards her job.

i dunno..there's just something about olivia that i dont like..she seems like one of those backstabbing girls that try to pull you down so she can get to the top. and she keeps asking about jay..i wonder why?? hmmm...curious

olivia didn't like the boss lady praising whit after the show so she asks whit to come to a dinner whith jay that jay usually doesn't go to and nags whit publicly about why jay is not there. Malicious!!!! then looks dissappointed when jay shows up for whit.

BTW, Jay is a classic example of a dude that wants to have the cake and eat it. He wants the girl, but doesn't want any responsibility that comes with it. If a guy tells you 'I always do what I want', drop him like a dead dog, seriously - you'll never be high on his priority list.

I LOVED the opening sequence for the first half of The City. Too bad they didn't shoot a new one for the second half - probably couldn't arrange the shooting with new cast members...
