Dreck's mom was able to, she passed the ability down to Laura and when Peter killed her to become the alpha he inherited it

Yeah, good question, Andrew. Or like Derek's Mom (Peter's Sister) and Derek's sister. Maybe full-wolfly-ness is just a female thing. Something to do with slaving over a hot "little werewolf oven" all day really brings out the beast in a girl.

It was most likely due to budget. However, the lore of the show could B.S. it as a special ability (like the twins merge ability or how Derek's mother could change into a actual wolf).

Am I the only one who thinks about how weird it is for people to write romances between real people like Teen Wolf characters, and how awkward it much be if the actually people saw it. Stiles x Derek for example I would imagine would be a funny reaction. You know what? I actually want someone to ask them about that.

Derek wasn't as strong as Kali, but was stronger than Jennifer who was afraid of the alphas and needed Derek to protect her from them, but now it turns out that she's stronger than all of them and can easily kill Kali and the twins!?!
