In open adoption Catlyn and Tyler are doing exactly what they should. They are making it all about their daughter,,as it always will be. When she grows older she will be thankful that they didn't just hand her over to strangers and walk away. Adoptive parents need to get over their fears, and learn to embrace their place in their childs life. Once that is done, opening their lives up to biological parents can be pretty awesome. My girls love all the gifts and memories they have with their birthparents in their lives. It helps them become more "rooted" individuals as they grow. I am a mom through adoption and feel Catlyn and Tyler are treasures, and their little girl will grow up much more secure then as if she was handed off and was forgotten about.

ITA, who would want Tylers and Catlyns parents around at any cost! Thos adopted parents should be left alone! If I were them, I would go to court to have the adoption closed

catlyn and tyler need a serious reality check. open adoption doesn't mean "hey i can't afford my kid you take 'em BUT i want them at every mild stone in OUR lives. oh yea, and by the way the biological grand parents would love to have some sort of relationship with the child u adopted from us also. oh, one last thing....we WILL bring boat loads of gifts on the child's birthday/XMAS. so thanks for doing all the hard stuff and here take this collage of photos of me and him when we met, while i was pregnant with the baby, matching braclets we will were til ur 18 etc etc. well...i guess i'll give ya back to the adoptive parents to do all the hard work we couldn't do but we want to bond with cha so u know how much we love u! come on lil kids... i don't think that's what the adoptive parents had in mind when they adopted the baby. move on and let those parents be parents to the child without ur interference.

Farrah sux at being a good teen mom.. well she really didnt but lately the way she treats her parents.. she is seriously abnormal.. sorry but most teenage girls havin babies would LOVE for their parents to be at their side and she takes it for granted day after day.. in the beginnin no i did not agree with her mom hitting her... of course most wouldnt but at this point im sure there are more and usual that wouldnt mind farrah being knocked around just to show her that .. there is a REAL world out there that would sooooo appreciate what she has that she simply does not.. and how f'n tacky is it to call ur dad by his first name instead of dad.. especially when he is there to watch ur child that u werent supposed to have til u were old enuff to find ur own place without assistance from ur parents that u were just going to reject anyway.. farrah needs to get over herself.. thats the bottom line..

hey guys, im not being ****** or anything but i take it hard when i see people critisizing the girls on teen mom, thats all they want to be able to do is have freedom and be a mom! its hard ive learn that, i was a young mom than these girls and its very very hard but i wouldnt change my baby for the world!<3 sorry it i sound ******!

Catelyns dad....He seems real caring and all but havent you all wondered how Cate could claim they were soooo close when she admitted to not seeing him for FOUR YEARS!!! LOL! If you ask me, Ill bet ANYONE who appears on this show gets PAID and after ole dad watched his kid on tv and realized he could cash in if he appeared all of a sudden HERES DAD!! LOL I hope Im wrong but it did look that way.

I know it's been said a few times but Farrah is such a brat. She keeps talking about wanting her own independence but she isn't really doing anything financially responsible to show this. Thinking about moving to California and then Arizona and then in the next episode wanting to move to Florida is not the best idea. All of these places have high standards of living and being a single parent isn't the cheapest thing to do. Yes I was older when I had my child but I have been the sole provider for him and even with the good job that I have, we still are living with the bare essentials. She needs to come down to reality and thank her parents for how they raised. It's partially their fault that she is allowed to talk to them like that because it's evident that they never corrected her when she did when she was younger. I'm not saying that Deborah (sp) should hit her again but it was something that should have been stopped a long time ago. I'm almost 30 years old and if I even THOUGHT about talking to my mother like that I would be disowned from the family.

I have to correct you on a few things.....Maci makes $65k from MTV....not from Ryan. If anything Ryan doesnt work because of the money he makes off of Maci from HER being on the show. As far as Kyle, clearly he feels bad about not working, he followed his heart & that meant following Maci 2 hours away from his life, home & job. I believe if he hasnt already....he will find a job & provide love & support to Bentley & Maci. Something Ryan could never do. Just saying...
