i have watched this show from the start and i just wanna say to you Catelynn i too gave one of my daughters up for adoption it is a very hard decision but is the best thing you could of done for her. I think it makes us stronger as parents and it feels good to know your daughter will have a good life of course after the guilt and hurt subsides it never goes away all the way. Just stay strong you will go on to have a wonderful life.

I loved all the girls but I have to say that Catelynn and Tyler where my favorite! I wish MTV would do updates I wonder how baby Carly is doing....

Stavros, I think your disconnected, unrealistic, and maybe on drugs. Because your are defintely living in some made up world. When you say something like that about this young girl who has made the hardest decision she'll ever have to make. I think that you are very insensitive to life and that your mother should have taught you better. She could have learned a thing or two from Tyler's mom.

I think that Catelynn is such a beautiful, mature, and outstanding individual. Taylor is a well rounded, handsome, and thoughtful young man. These two our the future. They made a decision alot of people are too selfish to understand. The pain and self scacrifice it took for them is something most people can not understand. I look at the way most people relate to them, and it is as if they committed a crime against nature. When in fact they gave the greatest gift of all. I was 20 when I had my first child; and now at 32 I don't regret my decision, but I can say that I think they put their daughters needs in prospective; with also their own. Being a single mother of 3 beautiful children who were my destiny; I can honesty say at that age I wish I could have had some direction on my life. And I can see the pain and lifestyle that they have to now that they made the best decision for their daughter. I love you guys so much, and I know that through it all you will succeed, have awesome lives, and be great parents in your futures. Sincerely Kenisha P.S. I think that Catelynn's mom could learn a lot from her on how to love and let love. She seems to have a lot of personal problems that she lets out on her child. And that is no way to be. I have 2 daughters and I could not imagine; calling them out of there name or even treating them in any way that I have witness her treat HER CHILD. Because if you anit there for her than who is!!!

i really love catelynn and tyler especially tyler he is the sweetest kid iv ever seen iv grown in an hard environment but they are making the best decisions to better their lives good luck god bless and i pray for the best <3

Treva, as you stated, they were irresponsible and got pregnant. It's not Carly's job to pay for that. They gave her the best they could with their situation at the time

I love this show, I watch it whenever I can! It is a reality check to the young teens who think having a baby is all dress-up and fun........its not. I had my first daughter at 23 and I still dont think I was ready, neither was my husband, but you pull through and do what you have to for the children. Catelynn and Tyler, it makes me laugh because of where you live that Ive never ran into you before! You two are both the most amazing brave loving people I have ever seen, what you did was the hardest thing someone could do, the most selfless act for love, you realized that you were to young and someone else could do for her what you couldnt. Dont ever let anyone tell you differently (especially ur mother Catelynn), you two are role models and hopefully this will teach others there are other options out there besides abortion!!!!! Farrah, you are a strong beautiful mommy to your daughter, dont change that quality! You can make it through anything!!!!!!! Maci, I so understand why you stuck around with your ex as long as you did, I to also did that to keep it a family. Sometimes its better when your not together, better for your son and you!!!!!!! Hopefully you will find the one who will treat you like gold, honey you deserve it!!!!!! Amber........ I honestly dont know what to say to you. I have watched you spiral down hill since you had your daughter, do you honestly think for one second the things you have done in front of your little girl that shes not going to remember? Do you think your being a good role model? Ummmm no!!!!! Your daughter is going to learn everything from you, to her your her everything! How can you tell her not to hit someone when she watched you smack at her dad or throw things? Do you think its fair to always throw Leah in Garys face when you dont get your way? Im only saying this because Ive witnessed this myself, everything you do is going to come back and bite you in the ass later, you need to straighten up and put your daughters needs first!!!!!! Im a single mom also, my girls father isnt in the picture, and everything I do, I do it for them. Im not super mom and I know your young and its hard but just think about this....... do you want your daughter to grow up acting just like you or do you want better for her? Only you can decide hun!!!!!!

I love Caitlyn and Tyler they are my favorites. They would have made great parents. But they did what they thought was best for their child and that the greatest gift you can give your baby. Carley is beautiful and favors Tyler and Caitlyn both. Hope the best for them both!

I have to watch this show with my wife all the time and i don't get why all these girls think everything should be handed to them we had our first child two years ago and during the time we found out we were living in the slums but because we loved the idea of having a baby and a family we cleaned up, i got a job, we found a place and now we are doing fine. we didn't have all the things these little girls had like a supportive family, a place to live or a vehicle to get to the doctors appointments. but we rose up and got through it. all i'm saying is that they a spoiled little brats that need a real reality check and some of these chump boyfriends need a reality punch in the face for backing out on a life that they brought in to the world,like this guy nathan that we are watching he needs to get off the video games and man up, I hope he gets his act together or else i hope megans dad and sister woops his ass all the way out of there lives. this is just a little bit of how i feel and i tend to let you know more as i watch more. later

this is about as much contact as there normally is in an open adoption. 2-3 visits a year is typical. Many adoptions don't have any. She is actually very fortunate to have what she has. MTV I'm sure helps her, to not make Brandon and Theresa look like jerks or sour adoption for birthparents.

I miss hearing whats going on with Catelynn and Tyler... their sweet baby and her wonderful adoptive parents....I hope Farrahs doing well with her beautiful little girl shes a good mom and she proves what a good person she is by going to counsoling to try and mend her relationship with her mom... Maci is a good mom too and I hope she and Farrah both find good loving supportive men they deserve too..... As for Amber when the season started she was a completley differant person and since then she has made a lot of horrible choices and most of them her daughter has paid for and deep inside shes a very strong person but shes forgotten that and about what matters most...Personally I question Drugs??? I think she needs Rehab and a lot of soul searching and Therapy and shes very young she can turn her life around and be a good mother...she just has to want to!! I hope for her sake as well as her daughters she gets the help she needs.. I think you are all very brave to be as young as you are and I admire your courage putting your personal lives on air to help teach young girls what its really like after the fairtale ends and reality hits... I think Catelynn Sugar coats a lot of things. I don't think her and B&T are as close as her and tyler say they are. Like she gets what one visit a year? a few pics every few months and a birthday phone call?? I sadly dont think C&T will ever get that aunt and uncle role in little carlys life. I think if anything after a while someone will cut contact. there has to be a reason B&T are so distant already..

Why? Because I love you. At the time when Catelyn and Tyler chose adoption, parenting was not the best choice. You shouldn't have to keep yourself down for giving your kids a better life.

Sometimes we aren't able to give our children everything they need, in which case, being good parents, we allow someone else to.. Adoption is very, very hard on the birth parents, but as parents, we always need to put our children's needs before our own. Catelyn and Tyler did just that. Yes, its hard to live without your daughter, but the pain of being without her is just one of the many things we take to make sure our kids have the best life possible. Catelyn and Tyler, I love you two. Just keep on keeping on.
