I can't believe that Amber acts like that towards her daughter. I love my daughter & would never treat her like that. I also think that it is sad that leah loves her dad & amber comes inbetween them like that you can tell that gary is most definetly the best choice for leah & to me that is about final. I know a lot of ppl. might disagree with me but I don't care. When you have achild you are supposed to do everything in your power to show them love & affection & most definatly not yell at them all the time Leah is just a baby & truly needs her mothers comfort

I commend Amber for airing her dirty laundry on National Television. What do people expect to see on MTV. Come on-reality check people, its not like Amber on Dope with 7 kids, on Food stamps and other government assistance. Everyone has there own battles, and some are a little harder to understand than others. Dont nobody know what it is really like to be Amber, who knows what she has been through to make her seem so down and depressed, and falling deeper into a mental pit. I believe it should be mandatory anyways in all Schools for teens to be on birth-control. Stop all these broken homes, and realize these babies did not ask to be here. I dont feel sorry for teen moms, I have my reasons. But I do feel sorry for what they deal with individually to make them so voulnerabal.

uhm are you retarded? Do you honestly think carly would be better off in the smoke filled house with cate and her mom arguing all the time. I think carly will be damn thankful that cate and tyler gave her to such great parents. Brandon and Teresa were perfect for Carly. I could see Carly being upset if she wasnt given to such great parents but she was. You have some issues dude.

i am glad something is being done with amber, it really bothers me that mtv allow episode after episode to air showing gary being abused both physially and mentally with their daughter present! my heart breaks everytime this footage has been shown.

what??? catelynn and tyler are amazing for the unselfish decision they made. carly has an amazing set of parents now who love her and can provide for her and will grow up in a stable environment. I think Catelynn and Tyler are great and applaud them for their courage!

i have 2 kids i had first kid at 21 and second at 23 so i understand tha things but at tha same time i wasnt ready but i didnt give my kids up so tyler and catlyn was wrong its hurting tha grandparents who cant see tha child and instead of been mature they still childish

it's not that catlyn mother is abusive but u gotta really understand that she cant see her granddaughter hell she feel like that she raised her at young age in her life and she feel like she have kept her daughter and went through the headaches she went through but still at tha same time she coming around

Crystal you've odviously got some unresolved issues or something..it's not cate and tyler your mad at baby girl, get a grip. Cate and Tyler made a completely selfless decision to give Carly a BETTER life, and when she's old enough to understand she will be very greatful. My mom was 16 when she had me and I love her but I wish she gave me up...just the things ive been through, the enviorment i was exposed to, Ive gone through a lot and seen things i should have never seen. I feel like the enviornment that Cate lives in was NOT ideal for Carly so they did the right thing for sure. GREAT JOB GUYS I admire your strength and ambition in life.

Catelynn's mom is a freakin psycho!!!! I think Catelynn should be April's mom. She acts like a cracked out teenager! Actually she is. She is hateful and selfish! Catelynn made the right decision. Carly is in a healthier environment then being around that crazy witch. She's always smoking around her own children, I can't imagine if Carly were to be there. Catelynn, you and Tyler are wonderful and self-less. You guys are way more mature than April and Butch. Best of luck to the both of you. Oh, April needs to check herself into a mental institute, seriously.

I absolutely respect Catelynn and Tyler. They out of all of the couples (or moms) they made the most selfless decision. They were not thinking of themselves one bit. It would have been easier to keep Carly emotionally, but not the best decision for Carly. I would love to take Catelynn and Tyler out of their surroundings. Put them in a local school where I live, which is a very rural area and let them finish school and help them find the means to go to college. I am sure there are ways they would be able to go financially through hard work and government assistance. While Tyler has a wonderful support system through his biological mom, Catelynn has NOTHING. Butch and April are HORRIBLE parents at best, in fact I think they are abusive, emotionally. It kills me to watch how Catelynn is treated. I wish she could come stay with me for a while and get all that garbage off her mind and finish high school. God Bless you Catelynn you are in my prayers.

Catelynn and Tyler are my favorites and I feel so bad for Catelynn and how her mother treats her. you and tyler know that you did what was best for Carly. So dont sweat what other people say. You and Tyler stay strong and continue to get your lives in order..
