Katie needs to realize she has it good compared to the other girls. Joey takes care of her n Molly and all she does is give attitude. She wont let him be supportive. Her resentment goes way beyond him being her babies father.

Katie is a lot more intuitive and insightful than she gives herself credit for. In all the episodes of "16 and Pregnant" and the "Teen Mom" franchise, she is the first girl who I've heard explicitly talk about the stigma of being a teenaged mother. That must be a horrible feeling to have people judge them for having their children, especially when someone is trying to be the best parent they can. She mentioned people criticizing them because of their age, but there is another dimension to that as well. What those people really are saying is, "why aren't they married?", and implying that the girls are promiscuous. Again, that is a painful feeling for anyone to experience, but adding the issue of age makes for a whole different set of issues.
