Just goes to show not all is as it appears on TV. It looks like the economic fallout from realestate bust has caughtup with the Nijjar family too. Construction on the house has just finished and its now on the market in hopes of generating some cash. Although construction was started back when money was easy to borrow, now that the boom has gone bust banks are demanding payment and service providers want their money. I was disappointed to see postings on the internet from people complaining they haven't been paid by this guy. I guess if everyone didn't pay their bills, they too could live well. The house on Paces Ferry Rd in Atlanta is now on the market for $25mil. Zillow.com estimates it is only work $15mil and is already well above market with average of $10mil for most highend homes in that part of Atlanta. If they keep cutting the price and it does sell, Kaitlin may not get her wish of walking down the grand staircase after her wedding. It is a sad, sad ending to this story, but I do hope the people who did the work will finally get paid.

I just recentlly saw their house for sale, when my parents were looking for homes to buy. Their selling it for $26,000,000

Wow, whatta out of this world family and home! The father, Lee, is incredibly successful as a real estate developer (safe to say a tycoon). It's amazing to see how Lee and his wife Kimberly have raised such great kids. It strikes me how down to earth and humble they all are, you would think they didn't have two nickles to rub together, but obviously money is not a problem. It's neat to see them give back with throwing their charity events. I am happy for them! I wish I knew them, they are extremely cool and have such great attitudes. But I live in Montana so I don't think that'll happen unfortunately. *frown* Great job to those at MTV for producing such a great show too, the Jamen and Kaitlin's Crib episode is first class.
