I'm so mad- I actually really liked this series. The idiotic parents who let their kids watch shows like this are to blame if they feel so bad about a little bit of an accurate representation of teenage life.

I love this show, but the british one IS alot better. Since there not making a second season of the Us one, Everyone should go and check out the Uk series. It's really great. They have it on netflix, and some sites have all the episodes up. Just google it.
i so agree with you. the british one is sooo much better. but i kinda like this one too. its just one of those shows where the drama is addicting. you know?
Okay, this show in 3 words? BAD, ANNOYING, HORRIBLE! The writing? bleek. The acting? (For Example: See the first episode-TONY) The characters? very annoying (TONY, Michelle, Daisy, Abbud). They stare into space and seem absent from each other! The only real ones are Tea and Stanley, they show emotion! I *tried* to give it a shot. Now, I am for free expression and I can see where the concept is going (Kind of like a Larry Clarke's KIDS-Check it out!) but NO! MTV makes me laugh, they are trying to show this "American Teen" way of life: Rebellion, drugs, SEX-okay maybe it is (lol) but this Crap is sooo glamorized and covered up with techno music and glitter! (Don't believe me? Check out some of the promo shots...GLITTER!) If you wanna see a REAL teen show that taps into your emotions without all the fake crap (and glitter) check out My-So Called Life and Freaks and Geeks, they are from the Nineties but still RELEVANT today (On IFC and TeenNick & check the credentials- F&G Judd Apatow produced and MSCL-EARLY Jared Leto and both named one of the best TV shows of All-Time by Time Mag and countless others! ) Heck, even freakin' Degrassi ! I hate to sound like a "Debbie Downer" but the British version is better. Everything is better with an English accent... (:
VERYYY MADDDD i cant belivie they canceled skins this is the best freaking show ever im really sad their jerks for doing this i looked forward to watching this every monday i even tried to watch the UK version to feel bettter AND IT SUCKS and they all said the US verison sucks no i dont think soo!! michelle is my fav carecter and idk whu yje did this the resson why they cancieled this is soo stupied!!! i miss this show so much:( i wish they could come to their sinces but 1 reson why the stoped the show was cause people stoped watchin well i was watching!!! D;
maybe if we all cross our fingers hard enough they'll reconsider and make a season 2.:)
