Jay really kept his cool when Lil' Mama went on stage! She shouldn't have even been invited because she was a one hit wonder way back in 2007! Hopefully she won't be invited this year and MTV will hire better stage security so there are no more "Kanye/Lil' Mama" incidents this year! Gaga- Go win em' all!

Proud to be a New Yorker...badass performance by Jay-Z and Alicia! I love watching his swagg as he come up to the stage in the elevator. I get goosebumps and teary-eyed everytime I see that part where he give his big up to MJ. Gotta give props to the crew for awesome staging, camera work, background, and effects and well!

As far as what Jay-Z means in mentioning Jesus; I prefer to think of it in the words of St. Ignacious.
