I commend Sarah on her bravery. For many people in her situation, the most difficult part is not enduring the abuse itself, it's more so coming out and talking about it. I think as a kid she was really brave for going to her mother about it, REALLY BRAVE. ...but with her father, it's a different story... he didn't actually do anything, MAYBE IT COULD HAVE GONE THERE, but nothing happened. there's got to be somewhere they can meet in the middle... I think she was taking it way out of proportion...and being a tad bit overdramatic =\

What are you talking about? Are we watching the same episode? She stated clearly in the car with the roommates that she was sexually abused by her father. Sarah was molested twice. Once by her daycare teacher and then by her father while on a camping trip. I agree with Sarah's decision involving her father. You can forgive someone and not forget what they did to you. Sarah's father is toxic to her and she should continue to keep him out of her life. I believe you, Sarah. This is so ironic because it is one of the major concerns with gay adoption. Some people can be so ignorant about what they fear and don't understand.
