I don't think any of you guys could possibly be a bigger Prince fan than me. But I've heard the synthesier lick before. If he focused on the guitar solos more (he is right up there with Jimmy Hendricks as far as I am concerned) but the method "Prince" synth is too prominant. The scandalous thing is that some of his best songs have never made it to video. I think this was a song for the masses, but us true Prince fans know that the songs that make it on to MTV are usually his lesser material. If you want the REAL Prince, buy his albums. And then you will KNOW. This man is the most versitile, complete atrist there is.
I have loved Prince for as long as I can remember and I'm 40. I wish I could find free downloads of his earlier pieces (I call HIS music pieces but it is truly a work of art)
