Actually their songs are about more than just her it's about people in general. Expecting people to be perfect because they're in the spotlight for a moment is a form of ignorance that she uses as an example. If you read between the lines a bit you can understand the meaning. I understand why you would have that opinion, but their songs have a great meaning. You'll be blowing off an awesome band if you don't go deeper. If you decide you wanna listen to another one of their songs I recommend Misguided Ghosts, plus it's short lol:)

Nope, not over 40 (and it's spelled "you're"). Look, if a band is just horrible, why do other people have to research and "get to know" them before they're allowed to say it? I hate to say it, but this IS typical teen bop music. Do you sit around listening and researching bands YOU hate so you'll have "permission" to dislike them authentically?

Their Alternative Rock, Not Pop. I Take It Your Above 40? Because the Whole "Pre-Teen Bop.." Phrase Lets Me Know You Must Not Understand Some Genres of Music. T-Shirts At The Mall? Get To Know A Band Before Acting Like You Know Everything All And Mighty About Music.

Pretty typical pop music, actually. Constant (read: "incessant") vocals that never let up on the usual pre-teen bop theme: "I'm in angst because I'm not like the crowd, so don't judge me." Rather mundane product music, but it'll sell a hell of a lot of T-shirts to kids at the mall I suppose.
