i think that by eliminating melody the first it was pretty clear that diddy wasn´t looking for another pop or hiphop artist... the three were really good..Diddy wasn´t jst looking for a rock or pop artist..
todd should get a deal, has that kings of leon kinda vibe...melody needs to be more articulate, she's definitely got the pipes, but needs to work on her showmanship...she's a diamond in the rough... and for Liz she's a true pro...just hope that she gets the right songs and management cause she could be really HUGE.
Congrats to them. Todd and Liz were consistently good, my bet was on Todd but hey Liz was pretty darn great too. Maybe Melody should have worn a short skirt then she would have had a better chance, i dunno.

Hell Yeah!! Give it up to Liz!! she gave the best performance, like a true star should, she worked the crowd, got them involved with her performance, and sang her butt off!!! Melody Angel, was just not, I think, what PD needed @ Bad Boy, its a voice you've already heard before from his groups. He needed that fresh new talent, and what he always looks for a whole lot of "swagger" but this time it comes with a little bit of country, which we all have in us (though some dont dare admit it, lol) !!! Congrats LIz!!!!
I was a Liz fan since the first show, but started to become a Todd fan. All I know is I'm glad Melody didn't win. All you people talking a bunch of bull s*it about her being so great. She tried way too hard to be good and her voice was basically singing deeply. She's like Jessica Simpson who tries WAY too hard when she performs when her voice isn't even that great to begin with. Even if the show was "fixed"... Melody didn't win. "Can I get a hell yeah? --- HELL YEAAAH!" Hahahaha.
Matthew - You don't understand. I'm not beefing about who lost. There was no winners or losers in this. That's the point! This was a false competition. In fact, there was no competition. I am convinced that at LEAST the last episode, and perhaps more, were fixed ahead of time They spun this illusionist web of a "fair competition" for you, and you fell for it, hook line and sinker.
you guys all have to understand the buisness side of this. Country is a huge market that Diddy hasn't tapped into yet. This girl can sing and she also has the looks to sell it. The fact being that Melody was a direction Diddy already has. Just because she didn't win the show it doesn't mean that she won't get a deal. From a buisness perspective you have to look at it as Bad Boy can now claim a huge base of fans that its never had before. It opens up new doors for Bad Boy buisness and marketing wise. Your tapping into an oil reserve that is filled as big as the Atlantic Ocean. Look at Carrie Underwood and what she has done. Even know she's country she is the best selling artist to EVER be on American idol. Look at her record sales and then look at the money the label made from that. Very smart move by Diddy. Yes he is making history because who would of thought Bad Boy would go country, very very smart buisness move. Diddy is where he is because he is smart, stop hating. Success always brings sore losers and haters. There's a reason Diddy is where he is and why you are ******** about who lost.

imo p diddy just thinks he can make stars out of anyone this contest disappointed me mostly because the judges. what does a choreographer no about singing yes she's worked with big names but i think judging singing should be left to producers like jerkins and to professional singing coaches not an artist developer and choreographer. but then again p. diddy thinks he knows it all just because he's gotten lucky with a few groups and is a successful "artist" himself i think people should make it big through hard work and dedication not by getting on some show and getting it the easy way. yeah they have to "compete" but in the end it's all just staged
Melody can out sing Liz anyday, she has a stronger voice, and she could even sing country, she could sing anything. She was a young Black women on a mission, and she played to win! Melody would have won, if this was not staged to showcase LIZ and introduce P Diddy's merge into country music. He's been thinking about diversifying for awhile. I feel he should diversify, however, he went about the wrong way of doing it. He should have showcased only country singers, and not fooled with the lives of the other contestants. However, on the flip side, at least they recieved exposure. Melody will make it, and possibly get signed with an even bigger label, like Sony, BMG, or Universal. One thinkg I've learned about country singers, is that they really do not make it as big as pop artists. In other countries they are not played on the radio, in the top ten, they are limited to the US more. I know because I've lived in Europe for years, and it's hard to turn on the radio and hear some good country music, but pop artists always make it. In the end Melody will make it big, this was a great step for her. Horrible singer Monet, actually got picked up by some one, lol!

SYF......yes just like when they did that to MONET...everyone has a moment when there vocals are the best..so they showed that and then voted her off??? It was a FIXed show let's face it..How could MONET win everything then she's off..
What a joke. Melody and Todd both knew the fix was in, that's why they seemed so deflated on some "well, i'm still alive" and melody saying "I don't know" type of ****.. That Is not the attitude of winners, and not what I saw in the earlier episodes. The fix was in people. I wouldn't be surprised if this entire thing was staged as an inept vehicle to launch liz davis. One other thing, its despicable how the video editors found one moment of Melody trying to work out her vocals, and turned it against her. They were setting her up for the fall ahead of time. She has a great voice. Both did better than Liz. Both stretched their boundaries, Liz did not. I reiterate... what a joke.
