I'm sorry but I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. This top 5 "MC's" is a piece of S#!@. You need people with lyrical ability there. Ross has NONE Nicki and Drake have been singing lately. I'm still confused how you don't have Common or J. Cole anywhere on here who lyrically can outshine all of them. J. Cole is one of the dopest MC's right now! It disappoints me because MTV is seriously a joke when it comes to rating music and this list was an insult to the whole Hip Hop community.

i feel the 2012 list was WAY off. where fabolous, ludacris, lloyd banks, lupe fiasco, j. cole, pusha t, jadakiss, common, and nas. i mean big sean and wiz khalifa both had good years but i feel tht their albums were BIG let downs. their mixtapes were beeter then their albums. hell common, lupe fiasco, and lloyd banks albums were better then rollin papers and finally famous. my top ten(in no order) would be lloyd banks, lupe fiasco, kayne west, jay z, pusha t, fabolous,wale, j. cole, lil wayne

J.Cole had a better year than Wale and it wasn't even close. The reason why he is number 10 is because MTV has a short memory. I liked Wale before he signed with Rick Ross. His music is now mainstream and it is a shame.
