i am a 61 yr old grand mother and like all kinds of music, from classic rock to country, brought up on the Stones and Beatles and I absolutely Love Lady Gaga. She is so outrageous and different ,from what has been called music the last few years ,that she is a refreshing change. Her video's are insanely over-the-top, while delivering a message, if you can look past the outrageousness. Performance art at its best. She is a multi-talented young woman who is sure to just get better as she matures and finds herself. One can observe this search for self in her videos. She is baring her soul and her personal search for identity, in a world that tends to frown on that type of individualism, in her videos for all to see. Hopefully all her "little monsters" will get her message that it is OK to be yourself, who-ever that may be; even if it is not the person your parents or society , or sometimes, even your friends, tell you is the one you are supposed to be. Life is short, be yourself, not a clone/drone, and enjoy it; especially your youth; it is fleeting. you still have many, many years left to be a clone/drone if you decide to take that route to "fit in". But just remember if you decide not to, you are not a misfit and you are most definitely NOT alone. there are still a lot of us out here , both young and old.
