Sorry to be a realist about it, but when you die you don't fly away to some magical realm to live on clouds with jesus, nor are you sent to some underworld to be burned by fire. You die, you get eaten by worms, you are in the ground, that is all. Stay metal? I would say being dead is about as death metal as you can get.
May the Band rock on to show the world music still goes on. RIP Paul and the rest of the band members, SLIPKNOT, have the strength to go forward.
It is a sad day in the music world, he was excellent bassist. My condolence to the rest of SLIPKNOT and to his wife and unborn child. I am sure he is with you every step of the way. This is a sad day.

Slipknot is the driving force in my life and they pushed me to better myself in everything i do. I have been a fan of this band for a long time, I feel their pain because those of us who relate to the band and the songs its an empty feeling that i felt like i lost another family member. I dont cry very often but i havent stopped crying either. I will never forget my first concert which was slipknot in Cedar Rapids Iowa August 13th 2004, the greatest night of my life, and i thank paul for being there with me that night. As well as the other slipknot members its beyond words to describe the feeling of loss for someone who you felt that was a hero among many to you. I wish the best for paul's wife and family and to my other family in slipknot we love you guys so much you changed so much for us all
