Jim Cantiello has lost his voice, but not his thoughts about Tuesday night's "Idol." (3.23.10)
I miss Kris Allen!! I miss Kradam!!
YOU are a total goofball! Wow, it must have been SOOOO hard for you to keep quiet! That was totally entertaining. I agree, Miley was not a bad mentor. She gave each one different advice and she is an unlikely-successful teen so they could take hope from her success! They are mean to Didi, but she shouldn't have tried the bad-girl/mad-girl schtick (again) two weeks in a row. You can't quit due to depression and frustration - we all still have to watch and we need you to keep our spirits up!! Gotta say - I wouldn't dream of going to the Top Ten concert this summer, and we usually download a ton of songs and play them for months, haven't downloaded one yet this season. :( What has happened? I blame the judges - they had 100,000 people to choose from and look what happened. Is Paula really the missing factor (is that possible)? or is it just a Jordan Sparks kind of year?
Perfect. ROFLMFAO. I was just wondering...If season 8 had never existed...hadn't set the bar sky high...would everyone still think this season was so horrendous?
you are such a goof. lol i want season 7 back. if ryan had given a number to call for David Archuleta (that wasn't Aaron's) i would have voted for him even if he wasn't there. lol This season is BORING. Seems like the more AI tries to make the show interesting, the more boring it becomes because what it all boils down to is singing talent. If they pass on talent and try for personality all you're left with are mediocre singers.
HA HA - after being on the Idol audience ticket waitlist for a year, I finally score tickets for Tues night's performance; upon hearing that Miley is mentoring I gladly pass up my tickets. Think I made a good call. I look at AI 9 this way - at least I won't have to fork out any money to go see the Idol tour (did I hear rumors the tour is looking for smaller venues to play in this summer? LOL).
oh jim. this season of american idol is making you lose your mind.
YES! Kradison first!!! LOL!!!! The sliding!!! The "I'm trying to draw a sad face...OOPS!" Love you dude. My stupid DVR didn't record Idol, but it looks like I didn't miss much. Though I wanted to see Siohban perform, and see how Miley mentored.
This video is awesome and I agree with everything!! Although, I was all sadface about you losing your voice...I'm not sure it's true though. If it is, get better soon! The sliding was awesome! =D
I MISS ADAM LAMBERT!!!!!! Just had to do it. Great sliding Jim. : )
Sweet... Jim, you put on a better performance than AI did tonight And as Slezak says--B-o-w-e-r-s-0-x---B-o-w-e-r-s-o-x
OK, I get it. You miss last season. But that whine is way more predictable than Siobhan's shrieks, so isn't it time you tried something new?
I'm still ****** at you for generalizing the grandma vote but you look cool sliding.
I MISS KRIS ALLEN!!!!!!!
Yes Tim was better than Paige or Andrew but that's like saying I'd prefer to have my ring fingernail, rather than my index fingernail or thumbnail, yanked out with pliers. Either way, it wouldn't be pleasant. I'm tired of Siobhan's screech although I still like her and her voice. It's so nice to be cheering for Crystal this season. After Jason Castro and Adam Lambert, I don't need any more pretend boyfriends. I like Lee's and Casey's voices. And yes, the judges were too hard on Didi. She sounds so much like Megan Joy and I love that quirky quality in her voice. Overall, however, I don't care about this season. I will probably skip the AI tour (unless Antonio Sol is backing singer because I love him) and try to find a performance by Crystal once she's out on her own. I'll save up my money for Adam Lambert, Lady Gaga, Daughtry and other great concerts.
