Michael never appeared on MTV again after this stupidly cruel prank. You ******* at MTV have no right to mourn this man with your specials and tributes. This setup happened during Mike's very public dispute with Sony. Tommy Mottola and the creeps who run MTV conspired to humiliate Mike. They scripted Britney's intentionally misleading words, they told Mike's management he was getting this award, Mike wrote a speech and spoke from his heart. Afterwards MTV issued all of these statements saying MTV was wishing Mike a Happy Birthday and not receiving an award. Then they humiliated him again the next year with Jack Black's very idiotic farce. I can't believe they did this to him for his Birthday, and after all Mike did for MTV. Mean bastards. Mike, you were too good for this world. May you rest in peace.

I was too litle to go to your concert but my mam buth me my first Michael Jackson album . I was listening your songs every single day , i cried on your music when i was sad and i first fall in love on your music. I will always love you!!! You are the best, you are the king of music. Michael Jackson had awesome FASHION and all his SYLES that he wore to concerts, in his videos ect. Michael inspired me and the world. No one could dance like Michael. I mean you can learn his moves from watching him But those moves the "Moon walk"All of those "ORGINATED" From Michael Jackson Himself! Michael was such a senstive person he wants to change the world. Throughout all his songs that showed the message "Man in the mirror, They don't really care about us, Black or White, ect... All of those are hits that change people in a way. MJ, the one and only MJ. His creative genius will live on. I'm glad I was alive to witness his Jackson 5 days in 1969 and then his solo career, and his coming to the world via MTV.
