Where does this come from that Rihanna supposedly gave Chris an STD? So she DESERVED to be beaten? - maybe it's because she provoked him by reading his text message... how dare she? I think this is just a way to put a little blame on her... to justify what he did to her. There's nothing that justifies it. What he did was just animalistic. I think it is a shame - a real shame to women - if he's just let off the hook here. He needs punishment - and Rihanna needs to build her self-esteem. This gives the wrong kind of message to young girls who look up to her. I can't stand by and agree that all of this is just ok - cause they are young. Something's wrong if he has that much anger and rage... he's got to have some serious rehabilitation (if that could even help) to handle his lack of self-control. What's going to happen when she has a conflict with him again? There might not be anyone around to hear her screams. I'm sorry but I won't be listening to his music anymore... I can't condone this. He'll wind up losing his fan base, and I'm afraid she will too for going back to him.

i cannot believe we have reached the point in america now where domestic violence is acceptable. i can only imagine how terrifying it must have been for rihanna to be brutal beaten, punched and BITTEN by a man who was supposed to be kind to her and respect her. no matter what rihanna did, it is not acceptable for a man, who is assuredly stronger and larger than a woman, to hit his partner. EVER. even if she was hitting him or "provoking"it or anything, the photographs on TMZ show that what he did goes horrifyingly beyond defense. he viciously, cruelly beat her and punched the woman who loved and trusted him, and i can only imagine the fear and pain she went through. eyewitnesses say they could hear her screams from faraway, and yet there are so many people trying to deny what happened and mimize it. nomatter what anyone says or how scared people are of taking a stance on this, IT HAPPENED. nothing anyone can say will change that, and im sure the person who knows this most of all is rihanna. im sure this is the last thing she ever wanted to happen- no one wants to be beaten so much they are unrecognizable. in my mind, he will always have her blood on his hands, as im sure he did on that day. what he did is disgusting, and it is about time people begin to acknowledge that. no matter if she takes him back now or a million times, the abuse happened, and people should always remember that. by supporting chris brown, one is supporting vicious, cruel violence against women in particular.
