@Table_Top_Freak - cultural and ethnicity oriented publications and channels exist because there wasn't enough representation on mainstream channels and publications. there still isn't, but it's getting better. there is a united negro college fund because in the past, people of color were not allowed to go to colleges with whites and actually had to start their own colleges that TODAY white people actually attend, because the administration isn't like that of the white colleges of the past. HELLO. go read a book or at least try googling the civil rights movement. sheesh.

This is going to be short and sweet to address Table_Top_Freak . Take the color away. America chose the best man for the job. Now put the color back, this is a historical moment because majority of black people knew one day there would be a black president but not in their lifetimes. This is the first, so yes let’s celebrate like we never have before. The first women as VP would have been historical also but if it happened this time I would have been in morning. As far as America being prejudice, not everyone is prejudice but there are lot of people who are and a lot of people who didn’t vote for Obama just because he was black. And you know what Obama said to those particular individuals, he said he would be their President too. 100% of the black people that voted did not vote for Obama so people shouldn’t think that also. Obama won the electoral vote by a landslide and had one of the biggest popular votes a Democrat has ever seen. But even saying that, Obama did not win the popular vote by a landslide 48% of America did not vote for Obama. If Obama was white because he is the better Candidate, I bet his popular vote percentages would have been much higher. This race was a fight to the end in some of the states, especially states where the electoral votes aren’t split. Whoever has the larger percentage of popular votes takes all the electoral votes. California has 55 electoral votes that a lot when one needs 270 to win and Obama far exceeded that. Obama turned Virginia Blue Yall. Thank you all who voted and was a part of this historical beautiful moment.
