cmonn drake at #3 when this is based on flow and lyrics.. this is a joke. jay-z, fabolouz and Raekwon are the only 3 that belong on this list... wtf happened 2 rap... Although my opinion may be a bit bias being that I'm in love with Jadakiss...I believe it's total BS that he didn't even make the list. He is by far one of the sickest, most talented, and HOTTEST MC's in the game. Perhaps not the most popular but if your going to rate an MC by the "hottness" of their lyrics...then he most definitely not only belongs on the list, but should also be in the top 5. Love you JP!!!! I am mad as hell about this list. Soulja Boy should have been number 10 and TI should have been higher on this list. Who the hell cares if TI been in jail, he is one of the hottest rappers alive. I am not at all happy with this list. 50 cent shouldnt have been on the list at all this year. He album barely sold anything it was straight trash. This list is trash

To start things off first. I like all of the artists who made the list and have great respect for them. But there's one rapper who's not on the list that deserves to be there and that's Ludacris. The guy is a LYRICAL ASSASSIN, he has that southern flow along with that midwest touch along with it. I understand he hasn't really been out there alot on cameo and mixtapes like other rappers. He's busy making that actor $$$ too! I can't see how ya'll forgot about him. It seems like he doesn't get any respect. He didn't make it on the list last year when he should have (Release Therapy ppl!) besides being in the Honorable Mention list. Next year, I think ya'll should let the rappers and producers cast their vote as well.

First off you have Directors from XXL, and MTV and who knows where else they found these people.. What we need is people that were/are involved in the culture ex. legendary MCs and Graff Writers, True school B Boys or REAL DJS, NOT DIRECTORS AND CEOs that choose what is seen on MTV anyway.... I lost respect for SWAY for endorsing this, i thought he had his head on right.... ASK SWAY off the books and Crooked I would be on his top list.. WHat About IMMORTAL TECHNIQUE??? MTV aint tryin to promote Revolution...... NONE OF THESE "JUDGES" are credible to me..... Look in the streets... but then again the streets dont tune in to MTV.. I had to come up from the subterrain to write this message....

This list is dumb. I'm not saying Soulja Boy hot but based off the definition of success, swagger, impact, flow, and lyrics yea Soulja Boy dosen't have lyrics but he is NOT a fad. He has success, swag, impact, and his flow is what got him where he is now! T.I and Andre 3000 wtf? I just don't understand they don't have ****. I haven't heard anything from them if they going off success what have they put out? People like Busta, Fat Joe, The Game why haven't people I have actually heard something from been considered??

Fans r really passionate about Wayne and Souja presence on the list. WOW! Seriously, u have 2 show respect 2 them for their grindin. Nobody has moved around like these two. And consequently, Souja and Wayne r similiar--Hold On--the only difference is in rhymin styles-Wayne is lyrical--Souja is just da opposite--Think about it! They both are out there. I think MTV made a big mistake by not puting Souja on the list-- u may have alienated many fans with that move. And what about UGK--they hit real hard last year with Underground Kings-Hmmmm! Just a thought! Knowledge is Power--VA!
