BAN HIM!!!! Drop his music contract, ostracize him. Kayne West is the worst representation of successful black man he embarrasses me. Did you see Taylors little face, did you see Beyonce he simultaneously embarrassed and humiliated them both…and for what? Beyonce went on to win it all but he felt he was so self-important that HE should take the moment away from Taylor and transfer it to Beyonce. He is disgusting. He not only ruined the moment for Taylor Swift but for Beyoce as well. How could JayZ defend him? Jayz and all the music moguls should be taking a stand. WE have to take a stand. We cannot continue to send the message that such incredibility blatant bad behavior is acceptable, that there are no consequences. By continuing to look the other way, our community is saying it is OK to react without thinking about your actions… it is ok to hurt someone, and innocent by stander in order to speak your mind or get your way. Now if you don’t agree with me, fine…but let me remind you of 2002 when Halle Berry won the Oscar for Best Actress. This was a historical moment; no one can dispute this fact. Now imagine as Halle begins her speech, before she can continue Tom Cruise takes the microphone and states, “Hey Halle, I am really happy for you, and I’m gonna let you finish but I have to say that Nicole (Kidman) had wanna-da best movie of all times, had wanna-da best movie of all times.” The shrugs and gets hands the microphone back to Halle and walks off the stage. A hurt and humiliated Berry then turns and walks off the stage without ever giving her now infamous speech. Would that have been acceptable? Hell we crucified that white boy just for jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch, and we should chalk up Kayne’s horrific behavior as just too passionate? Why are we defending him?
