Yeah Travis, you're totally right. The techniques that inspired what is now known as parkour started in France (if you want to get real technical, they are actually of African origin), but the sport that David Belle created using those techniques did start as a movement in urban environments. You got it right. Nice flip off the picnic bench, by the way

We were saying that parkour as a movement started in urban environments of cities all over the world...And the line after just stated that we were in Downtown LA. In all of our packages we explain the origin in France and both its original conception as the "methode naturale" by George Hébert to its modern day founding by David Belle.

Great episode, I canâ€™t decide if I liked this or the Hollyridge Castle episode more! They keep getting better and better. It was great to see the traceurs in an urban environment and the final course was a much better setup than previous skills rounds. The opportunity to score points with any obstacle let the guys flow and show their own styles allot more than other competitions. Keep it up MTV, the show has improved immensely since the first episode. I hope when the next season starts it is in an earlier time slot so I donâ€™t have to watch it online, but thanks for getting it up so quick each time.
