I also felt that way... and have changed my mind since watching his interviews. He actually sounds like he has the right personality flat out.
He's really growing on me after watching his interviews as well. He has the right personality for it.
Actually Suzanne Collins thought he would be perfect. I quote from the People article, "Three lines into [his audition] I knew he'd be fantastic,. Josh totally captured Peeta's temperament, his sense of humor and his facility for language." He as the seal of approval from the author herself.

I felt the same way at first, but Josh H. has really grown on me after watching a few of his interviews. He seems so genuine and sweet that I have been able to really see Peeta in him. I think what bothered me so much was that he is so short, and that his hair color is poorly done. However, I am adjusting to it and in what I've seen I think he is going to do a great job.
im sorry you feel that way, but i disagree josh is an amazing actor just give him a chance. we could have been stuck with some horrendous actor like taylor launter. all of the actors in this film i feel our going to do their job well.
